Technically flawed. Forcibly closed game because it would not let me go back to menu. Now it keeps giving me this error saying full screen init failed with no recovery try to set display mode in settings.json instead. I CANT GET GAME TO LAUNCH. Getting money back. Early access is no excuse for a game that will not launch. Restarted pc and validated files and still nothing. What a waste.

If i go windowed, I am limited to a horrid 1080p. if i trust their idiotic auto setting of full screen, the mouse click boxes even on the main menus are so off that i literally cannot navigate enough to change the settings. Completely unplayable on a 32:9 5120x1440 monitor. Palia is made by an INDIE studio and has 32:9 support DURING THE FREAKING ALPHA!!!!! What is wrong with this developer? Your not bethesda...at least they let modders make mods to fix their technically crappy games. REFUND!!!

Gorgeous game, superb audio engineering, AMAZING concept and style ..UTTERLY wasted on a survival game. They couldnt even be bothered to voice act the one npc vendor in each biome. Super quest light, skeletal story INCREDIBLY BUGGY INTERFACE. And for a building game one of the worst building/decorating UI/interfaces i have ever seen. Keybinds literally will not stay assigned for even 30 seconds. Items wont remove themselves. The actual command remove item isnt even on the keybind list and doesnt work. So bad it makes Destiny 2's interface look good..... thats soo sad. For a game that literally has NOTHING else to do but explore and build you would think the build/decorate interface would be better. And no mini map? Really? However 32:9 worked out of the box so there is that.

The fact that Disney cant afford to code 32:9/5120x1440 support into their Multi million dollar game but a small indie studio can put it into the beta of Palia is pretty embarrassing for Disney. Other than that its a great game dont get me wrong. But i cant play it anymore since i upgraded my monitor. So i wont be spending anymore money on the game or in the store. Its a shame, since its such an easy thing, even an indie studio can do it. But without support for a resolution that has been out for a while now, i cant give the game a thumbs up.

Decent game, good setting and characters. But literally the worst game guide ever. The creator should reference Being a ♥♥♥ game on how a paid game guide should be handled.

Paid $24 and received nothing. Not used to being ripped off by Steam. I got nothing in return for my money and steam refuses to give me a refund as they say contact the game. But since i cant buy this in game only in store sounds kind of suspicious to me. Sounds like its steams problem that they took my money and never gave me my items. Sounds like they stole from me and thats illegal.

GREATLY improved in virtually every way from the mess that it was at launch. Granted the momentum combat is still stupid idea and the character models (specifically the faces) are LOLZ bad for a modern mmo. And there a a lot of bugs including ones affecting the items in the cash shop...HOWEVER the game is setting a new standard for immersion (combination of graphics, music, sounds, atmospheric effects etc). And i am enjoying it thoroughly in its newest (10/25/2022) incarnation. We will see if they keep it up past the level 1-25 zones.
Despite greatly improved in many areas the Insane level of bugs and glitches makes the game problematic when considering how much effort it required to achieve the goals of the game.

I HATE asian games. I have never played an asian mmo or game that i liked. I dont like asian culture, music or games.... but DAMN IT this is a pretty freaking great game. NOT perfect but incredibly immersive and contrdicts almost all of my reasons for not playing or liking asian developed games.

Amazing game. The graphics are beautifully rendered though glitchy at times. The music and environmental effects are incredibly immersive. I cant say enough about the music and the ambient sounds and music. The crafting is well done but not overly complicated. The class system us useful and allows creativity but again isnt cumbersome. The npc's are believable, the companions 3 dimensional and the moral choices well executed for the most part. This is NOT an open world game, if you choose to ignore the story order, it will occasionally punish you. More than any other game i have played in my 34+ years of video gaming, your character feels important and whole. Peasants and common folk are respectful and deferential. Even peers are respectful of your character even if its obvious they dislike you. The world creation is outstanding and immersive and a total time sink. One of my top ten favorite games of all time despite its occasional flaw.

Amazing game. I have been playing games since Pong in the late 70's and this is on my top 5 games. Beautiful graphics equaling or exceeding the witcher 3 at times. Music and sound score are incredible. Stories are involving and engaging, even the fetch quests make sense. The game has a sense of humor and i love that you can play as either a male or female heroin. I hate games that shoe horn you into playing the character they want you to play as i do not connect with female characters. Even the microtransactions are subdued and manageable without them, but they are well enough done to where i do want them. i can se eplaying this game for a while and buying any dlc they release.
