I logged some long hours with this game and about 84% the achievements. There is so much to do and the space battles are a joy to watch. It has some learning curve but it doesn't take that long to learn IMO. You can play at your own pace and the game doesn't force you to rush. It takes me roughly 1-2 weeks to complete a 800-1000 star galaxy map which is fair time for someone employed (lol). One best thing about this is Paradox is always adding and improving this game so you definitely get more out of the game in the long run. I also have to mention the soundtrack in this game and its amazing (most songs) is a pure joy to listen while you play. If I could say one bad is, there are 3D detailed army battles when you take over planets or defend your own. Highly unlike this would be ever implemented and performance on some occasions. One of the best and most played games in my library still.
