I am refunding this game due to the fact that I simply don't like the story's premise. The opening video sequence suggested to me that Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy was what I call a "niche" audience game; a niche that I do not fall into. One other source of dissatisfaction for me, was the K&M controls - you can edit keyboard commands, but while in the game, I found there were hidden commands that were annoying for me to navigate.

I've had a lot of fun playing WWZ: Aftermath. The artwork is quite good, and the included Vulcan API ran extremely well. Also, the game certainly brings an amazing approach to zombie hoards - I've never seen what I would call "a river of zombies" in any other game! Some additional map packs in the form of DLC would be great.

This is a unusual game in the way that it is paced. But it has good graphics, and a great unfolding story. It's exactly my kind of Adventure/RPG game! Put another way, this is a great game, and I am enjoying it a lot!

Edit: I have now finished the base game and both DLC's. I really want to say here that I have never experienced a better closing monologue. Through a narrator's voice and art pieces, I felt the characters and events in the game were brought to an entertaining conclusion. Truly a great job with the ending!

This is a great game all around. Streum On Studio (aka, Streumon Studio) approached this WH40K game in a completely different way than their Deathwing title. While Deathwing was created with a slower pace, Necromunda: Hired Gun is absolutely a faster paced game. With that said, I won't hesitate to say that I personally like both games. And I really hope Streumon Studio will keep up the great work!

This is a very cool game, and it's fun to play too! Though I haven't tried the D3D12 option, Rebellion did a great job with the Vulcan implementation - getting a very solid 144 FPS.

I was looking for a good casual game, and Beyond a Steel Sky is not only that, but it is indeed a great game! In its genre, I feel it sparkles, and I can easily recommend it. Buy it, and have lots of fun!

There are game play mechanics in this game that are similar to those found in Quantum Break (a game Remedy Entertainment also developed); a game I greatly enjoyed. In my opinion, Remedy didn't simply copy and paste these mechanics, but they improved them so that they would fit seamlessly within the Control environment.

All-in-all, I find Control to be a lot of fun to play, and I give it a thumbs-up (if possible, I would give it 2 thumbs-up)!

Edit: After playing this game for almost 60 hours, I have to add that Remedy has captured "creepiness" like no other action-adventure game I have ever played!! If that was their goal; they 100% succeeded.

This game has a different (and I think unique) approach to game play mechanics. I also feel that the developers simply did not want to create just another "cookie cutter" FPS experience; in my opinion they succeeded. After adjusting my personal expectations (I'm playing the non-VR version), I found the game fun to play.
