Northgard is such an amazing game. I had a wonderful time as I was playing this game until I beat the campaign. It has an interesting mix between Catan and Age of the empires where the focus is to build a town and population. Although I really liked the artstyle and the gameplay, it has a few minor problems. The readability of all buildings look the same, they have all the same roof tile textures, same wooden textures. So when looking for them, the only building that stands out with ease is the farm, silo and the main building. All other buildings get lost as you are looking for them.

The other readability problem is the villager icons. They all look the same and do not necessarily scream as different units. The only unit that is easy to see and select are the heros. All the other units use the same skin, animations, and scale. So they are also really hard to see and to find out.

After a solid week that I was playing the game and really enjoyed it, I started to notice that I was getting some nausea from moving back and forward in the map trying to look for units, the buildings, and trying to get used to the game. The third time I got it I decided to uninstall it and let go. It is unfortunate as I never get nausea from playing games.

But if you look at the ninth picture.... you can really see what I mean. All buildings look the same! There is no clear distinction.

However, I want to thank the great game this has been! It has been a pleasure.
