I can't recommend this game to anyone at full price. MAYBE at half price.

Overall, the biggest mark against the game is the incessant loading times in a game in 2023. They painfully hold on to their ancient engine that they've used since Morrowind. The fact that you can't get triple-digit frames in a game that looks....like this on a 4090 is a bit absurd.

The game is ultimately just boring, drab, uninteresting, uncompelling, and lifeless. Mass Effect does almost everything this game wants to do better than Starfield does. If I can offer one positive, the ship-building is cool, but if that's your main pull it's not worth going through how much of the game you have to go through to get access to enough resources to enjoy the ship-building.

Overall, if you can get this for <$15, go for it. Otherwise, you'll probably drag through for 10 hours then wonder why you're wasting your time.

The single player campaign is still solid, and worth a playthrough, even in 2019. I'm not into the multiplayer in CoD series, but if you can get this one for under $20 (yeah, good luck), go for it.
