The timer dropped at 20 mins and our side ran t3 gunships into a swarm of AA and we realized that things were not going to go so smoothly for us after all. My ally went ground forces and took the fight to their front, so I started making bots and drop ships. Two bots per ship, I hid them as best I could. I was careful not to tip my hand, sending no more aircraft, hoping they would become complacent in their air defense. Expanding out into a bomber swarm I built cannon fodder whose only job was to get shot down. Then I saw it, the scout that flew directly over my ship yard. The radar jammers do not work on direct line of site. The jig was up. I gave the order. A mass of bombers took off towards the mountains. Over the base they circled and crashed as the drop ships fallowed in a half a second after their arrival. The only ones shot down had the passengers survive the crash landing. A perfect square grid of drop ships directly on top of their base. Hell broke lose.

Just played the best game of SC:FA ever. 5 player ffa, two disconnects, Vexsomething killed the other guy, and came for me, and almost got me, but not before I nuked his commander. He destroyed the silo that launched the game winning missile a half moment after it had cleared the platform. I had to send my 8 mini commanders (who were all fully decked out) to hold the line against a massive swarm of troops. They bought me the seconds I needed. My commander had run away to the beach far away from the falling artillery, so I managed to win the game with only my commander left. He sacked my entire base just as his commander was immolated in a nuclear inferno. I had shot down two of his missiles before this all happened, as I had built three anti nuke silos before building my first launcher. I saved the replay if you are interested in watching it. I think this may stand as my greatest gaming moment ever.
