Spawn... no tutorial. try and learn controls. get killed by another player within 20 seconds. Watch tutorial video on YouTube... spawn. get killed by another player within 20 seconds. rinse and repeat. The player base is toxic, the forums are toxic, and the game.... is not very good. This is a "free" game that attracts the worst sort of player.

I love co-op shooters, so this was a game I was very excited to download and play. My first impression was not great, unable to connect and buggy servers. These problems have reduced over time but are not solved. I now have about 30 hours in the game... and I just dont want to play it anymore.

This game just has many issues that need to be solved
- Weapon Balance
- Enemy Balance
- Still a buggy mess
- The difficulty curve is not a curve... its a wall
- The toxic community

The community is the biggest issue, and the game actively encourages toxicity with its design from its vast array of friendly fire weapons, to its lack of reasons NOT to friendly fire in the first place.

When i finish a game of DRG (win or lose), its fun and im glad i played. When i finish a game of HD2 I find myself thinking "Im glad that over" and "F**K you all". Its stressful without being fun.

I bought this game years ago and never played it much (i found it bleh). I came back to it recently and played it right through. Overall the game has serious pacing and balance issues. To upgrade the guild you need a LOT of money, the only way to get it is to grind dungeons, grinding dungeons is dull. Gold rewards need to be drastically increased or upgrades made significantly cheaper. The hero classes have serious balance issues, once i got the ultra-chump I used nothing else. Thats right the strongest class in the game is the basic one you get for free. Give them gear that gives them stupidity and you will smash any opponent in 2-3 rounds.

To sum up the game has issues with pacing, balance, and economy. It might be ok if you could get it for under $10

This game take the worst elements of resource gathering/base building games and the worst elements of top down shooters and combines them in a game that is unsatisfying, dull, and boring to play. Its as if Animal crossing and Diablo immortal had a baby with "special needs"

If you like base building games, you will be disappointed, its very simple, dull, and requires a high level of manually running around and clicking boxes.

If you like top down shooters, you wont be happy either. the enemies are stupid, limited in variety and full of missions that everyone hates (escort the dumb NPC, defend the Base full of dumb NPC's, and kill everything in a time limit... where its really easy for an enemy to be missed).

To sum up, its not fun... and it also lacks a save function so if you need to quit before a save point... you loose your progress. You also cant roll back if your game bugs out (and it will) so that means starting again from scratch.

Got stuck on a chamber for ages, looked up the solution.... edge glitching.... yeah. If a solution requires exploits its not a good puzzle

Its too hard.

This game has multiple difficulty levels... but even on easy its too hard. Wipe the Dorito dust off your fingers all you like and abuse me with "get gud scrub"... but if a game has a mode called "easy"...... I expect it to be easy! If the difficulties were called "Hard", "Very Hard", "Insane", and "Hell on Earth"... I would not complain. This game is great for the niche market of people who like VERY HARD games that explain nothing and expect you to die and die as you slowly learn the game. It lacks polish and i don't recommend it.

This started great but the deeper you go into the game the deeper the flaws. the classes and abilities are badly balanced and it gets very dull very quickly. move, clear debris, pick up pointless loot, fight an identical group of mobs for the 5th time, rinse, repeat. The quests also bug out if you do the steps in the wrong order and you can end up with 'quest items" taking up space in your inventory that you cant use or drop. I have reached the mothership but i cant be bothered finishing this game, its gotten very boring.

This is a very frustrating game. Over time you will learn the encounters and work out the best strategies.... but the random factor will frustrate the hell out of you. The balance of strategy and luck is skewed to heavily towards luck and once you have learned the encounters the game starts to feel very old very quickly.

Slow, Dull, and unsatisfying to play. If you want a game like this go buy Factorio

I wont bother telling you why you should not buy this. The internet lists thousands of reasons why you should not waste you cash or time on the buggy pile of lies.
