Short Version: Buy the game, whether playing solo or with friends its great.
Long/full review: The game is basically vampires v.s. humans. There are a few maps that you play on and there are two rounds to each map. Some maps are better for vampires and some are better for humans, but this doesn't turn the tide of the game too much. There are four classes on each side and each has its strenghts ans weaknesses. No class "dominates" or is "over powered", its like TF2, its for the most part, balanced. You start out with two classes on each team and every five levels you get a class unlock token. If you want to get around this you can always go the pay to win route and buy runes and pay for the character but this costs about $15 per character. This makes sense because leveling is fairly easy and motivating when you know you'll unlock a new character. Hardly any lag issues, and you can choose what region you wish to play in. One of my top 2 complaints about this game is partying up with your friends. After you invite them to your party and hit play it creates a lobby and the game likes to auto balance. So if your party is even one person short one out of the three of you will be auto balanced to the other team. I wish it was like CS:GO where you are only put into a game with your buddies on your team. The second is that you play the "recruit" game mode which is basically team death match but with people level 10 and under. This is AMAZING, HOWEVER, the level cap is 40. So after level 10 I found myself losing every match against a party of all level 40s. This makes leveling much slower after level 10 because all the higher levels have the in game money to buy all the good abilities and know how to use them. I wish after level 10 there was a game mode that was for level 10-20, then after that it goes to global. But this is more minor than the party issue. Overall I give Nosgoth 9/10 with friends and a 8/10 solo.
