I just got a new job and my brain hurts too much for most video games right now. This game has just enough going on to be engaging, but not so much that it stresses me out. The music is awesome. It's a lot like vampire survivors, but the runs are much shorter, which I enjoy, Highly recommend for a casual thing to play with one hand when you're tired.

Pirates! Gold for the Genesis is my favorite video game. This is the best possible alternative. Actual open world piracy, unlike Black Flag. Not nearly enough games have copied it. 190/10

Early Access Review
Best game for playing with one hand while holding a salubrious beverage in the other.

I used to work for an escape room company. The games were really hard; about 10% of people won generally. I asked the founder why the games were so hard once, and he said (I'm paraphrasing) that by making the games really hard, it makes it better for everyone. The people who lose feel better, because the game is so hard most people don't win and they don't have to feel like a failure. The people who win feel better too, because the fact that so few people win makes their victory more meaningful.

There's a lot of that in this game. I'm awful at it so far, but because it's so hard, so intentionally and so unapologetically, my frequent failures don't bother me (much). And when I do beat a boss or something, I feel freakin' amazing, because winning never feels like a forgone conclusion.

It's an idle deckbuilding citybuilder roguelike RPG.

Weird as. But definitely worth playing if you're jaded and like things you've not seen before.

You can play board games on steam. Some of the mods are good, some are bad. But this is the best way to play pandemic board games. And that is cool.
