Just beat the game. It's a good game. If you like games like terraria you will probably like this, there is lots to do and I would come back to it in a few years if they continue to add to it like terraria added to itself.
However, I think the game can have a better way of leveling up skills (instead of being based on the number of hits maybe be based on the amount of damage you deal?). Still though, very good game in that there is tons of content.

Bought this game for the Coop experience, but it is currently very bad in this regard right now. Don't buy it for the coop experience.

Having to share the experience on one screen seems like it can be a good design choice if done right, however there are so many interruptions when it comes to building things, talking to cult followers, and even cooking that it makes it a downright awful multiplayer experience right now. This would be much better if they did it the way most games do it nowadays by giving each player their own autonomy to interact with town objects and not be limited to one screen. The other problem is the camera angle gets really bad in larger areas such as the town and some dungeon levels.

Hopefully they fix this in the future somehow.

Also, a bug I am surprised is not fixed given this game has been out for two years and the bug is there in plain sight is if an item is off the edge of the map, there is no way to interact with it. This has happened for relic drops as well as cultists who have died. The dead cultists thing is especially problematic considering it seems to increase the rate other cultists get sick.

Seems fun as a single player game, but fails terribly as a multiplayer experience.

Good idle game that lets you plan out various routes in a methodical way. If your not a fan of the general idle genre then this isn't a good game for you. If you enjoy idle games, then this game should be one to try. What is nice about this idle game is that it has a definitive end to it where you can say you have finally beaten the game.

Tried setting up and playing a game, but when your friend is in a private pre-game lobby and you try to launch it, it freezes and then kicks the joining player out of the pre-game lobby back to the main lobby while leaving the host at a waiting screen.

Fun game that is fairly light in terms of gameplay.

A game that can take probably a day or two to get into, but it is a game that the more you play of it the more into the stories and characters you get into. The best RPG of the year and probably of many previous years and many years into the future.

Eh, I feel like there are some things in the game that need fixing like your hero getting tired if they attack too fast?
Or in the case of the necromancer a level 10 and 20 ring have the same stats (bug)?
Feels like it is made too hard for stupid reasons of making it hard just because...

Pretty fun game, but one big problem that I can't believe hasn't been fixed. You can't zoom out in this game. At first I thought the zoom was fine. But when you get better weapons that have more range (there are even "sniper weapons.") You need to be able to see farther to be able to use them as sniper weapons instead of a general I will shoot in that direction and hope it hits because they were last seen in that direction kind of thing.
It goes beyond sniper weapons though, say you want to build a ship that goes really fast, but you want to see far enough ahead to be able to turn properly. How would you do this with such a zoomed in camera? You can't without just slowing down instead...

But! Once that whole camera zoom being too close thing is fixed, I will change my review!

I like the idea of competition in a video game without it meaning destroying each other, but more like a market competition. The game overall is very cooperative in that you can specialize in stuff on your own, but you are unable to do everything on your own. It is a very cool game in this regard, I feel like the game still has room to grow though.
It is also very hard to understand everything going on in the game without playing it for a good 10-20 hours. Then at that point you begin to understand all the fundamentals.
I used to play a lot of a game called Rust and this is a nice change of pace.

I liked the game, but was sad I could not play it on my computer and had to borrow someone else's will give thumbs up when they allow windows 7 to be played on.
