Very solid and fun to play fps looter shooter

This is a difficult review to write...

Thief 3 being the only previous title of the series that I have played to completion, I find the latest lacking...
It runs well enough once you get over the bugs that are still in and whilst the controls obviously originated for controllers not keyboards it is at times fun but I can't find it in me to properly recommend the game for the following reasons;

1. quick time animations - immersion breaking at every opportunity

2. looting - the hand grabbing is annoying, repetitive and the same sequence repeated over and over with no variation

3. It doesn't feel like a Thief game. Remove it's past history and it would make an acceptable game, nothing more.

4. it feels clunky when playing

5. Poor story

6. Bugs - particularly with sound

Total war? more like total epicness! best RTS played in a loooong time and it's moddability extends the time you'll be playing in a huge way.
tip, get the lord of the rings total conversion mod. it is INSANELY good

Good game with an interesting story. Major pity that the devs decided to leave the controls heavily based on those used on consoles and does not allow the camera angle to change other than up/down

It's good, fairly short and sweet, side quests require you to actively search for them, does get somewhat repetitive by halfway through the game but it'll be worth it by the time it's priced around £20. Replay value increases the longer you go before playing it again.

All in all, a good game that will kill some time while you wait for other games to come out

Large music collections make this game win

A brilliant yet unfortunately canned series of games, episode 3 will not be releasing. But its still well worth getting ep 1&2

Prepare for sponge... controls are very slow at responding but then again, isnt that much yet ive found challenging. decent enough to get in a sale but otherwise give it a miss

6.4 hours played... still finding it hard... still loving it... GET THIS GAME!!!
