Selling a "full experience" and then trying to upsell on top of that is pretty sleazy. I understand that the publishing deal changed, and that this includes content that may or may not have been originally planned, but that doesn't make it okay to renege on promises made to the customer.

While this game has its flaws, its accomplishment of being genuinely emotionally touching greatly outweigh them.
Highly recommended for everyone who enjoys a strong, relatable narrative, a fresh experience in gaming, or nostalgia for the era of early instant messengers like AIM and ICQ.

You can buy this DRM-free on itch.io, where it will also unlock the game on steam.

If i find the time, a more detailled review will follow. This game really deserves it.

This is a great and deep stratey game, but the pricing of its DLC compared to the new content being offered is ridiculous. Currently the game and all of its DLC sells for more than 320 Euros/US Dollars. Paradox really need to rethink their business strategy.

Unfortunately, this game is in a horrible technical state. I've been playing for about 8 hours, and for no apparent reason it fails to launch without any error message when I have no change to my system and other games and software run without any problem. A trip to the forum yields a lot of people with similar problems, but no working solution. I've tried - among other things - reinstalling the game, deleting configuration files and reinstalling graphics drivers. Buyer beware, at least until these problems are fixed.

Over a month after release, one of two weapon fire modes of the single weapon sold for 5 $/Eur still doesn't work.

Cibele is a short game about falling in love in an online game.

Viewed as a traditional game, it doesn\'t really do a lot: the game within the game you play mostly plays itself and there is practically no real player agency. But it is enough to lend some emotional reality to the feeling of getting to know someone online while also giving the player enough opportunity to see what Nina\'s life is like through her pictures and messages.

It\'s short (about an hour long) but sweet and feels very personal and emotionally honest. I'd highly recommend this to anyone interested in games experimenting with what the medium can do.

The game itself is good: a really polished and enjoyable single player experience with an online component that has a lot of problems (such as cheaters everywhere and and vehicle prices that are clearly geared towards selling in-game money) but it is entertaining nonentheless.

What I find inacceptable is that they chose to add a DRM-system to it that has made it impossible for me to play on several different occasions, including at launch.

Today, they made me manually download and install a new version of their DRM system, a 54MB file downloading at 25 KB/s (and no, the problem is not on my side). After the installation, the new version failed to connect to their servers. This is not the first time something like this happened.

In other words, if you want to play the game, it might very well happen that you can't just because the developer/publisher put their own interests before the customers' by introducing software that is designed to stop people from playing and is not good enough to reliably let paying customers play.

This is one of more than 25 paid DLC packs in a game that just retroactively added microtransactions for a lottery for items that are required to have the best equipment. And has advertising in it that was added retroactively as well. Don't support these business practices!

And has advertising in it that was added retroactively as well. In fact, the entire heist is one giant ad stuffed with small ads that they expect you to pay for. Don't support these business practices!
