One of my first PC games in my life was Total Annihilation. I have also 308 hours into Supreme Commander 2. I don't consider myself a RTS expert play wise, but more a good knowledgeable player on what makes one good. So with that said I'll next go on to say how shocked I was to discover this game even existed when I found it on the Steam store. I mean how did I miss this? So I was very excited and started researching instantly. After a few videos and a comment that said It was "better then SC2", I decided to buy. First thing I noticed was It was only around 3 gigs which made me a bit nervous. It has a cool intro and the loading menu is nice, lots of options and support right on the main page. I looked at the artwork, it is more cartoonish then detailed realism to me, but I believe sometimes that might be a lag reduction technique for game developers. Not sure on that but it's sorta like what World of Warcraft did, doesn't look real but you can run it on any modern PC. So that sent me to video options and turning it all on high. No problems there it runs nice and smooth. But while I was in that menu I found the kicker that might of ruined it for me. There's no freaking option to turn on my secondary monitor to use as a map screen like you can in SC2 and anyone that has played that way knows it's the best. So I went on to test the game play and started making land units, but I'm not seeing any repeat build buttons. Am I missing it or do you really have to come back and reorder all the time? Low quality animations, no such thing as research, ect, ect this game does not exceed SC2 in my book. As much as I really wanted a new RTS game with the really cool idea of other planets, I just couldn't go on. I'm sure it's a trade off between having massive online battles with other people and not lagging out like crazy verses the things I just said. So I'll just say it like this, with only a hour in I believe this game might be "OK" for the PVP online player. But for the player like me that usually skirmishes the AI and loves details and good game controls it falls short.

Worked for one session. Tried to play again and can't get it to start. Looks like others have issues too. I shouldn't have to be some programmer to get the game to start. It's a mess.

It's a must have. Even in early access the replay value is big. I found myself up late on the first day saying to myself "Ok just one more battle" I think the pricing is way low, it's worth 30 when done.

This is the best game I have bought since I can't remember when. it's a 100% gem created by people that know what they are doing. You will be addicted soon after you start and it keeps going and going. At first I thought it would have no plot and you just build stuff and then its over. But that is far from the truth because its packed with unlocks that will keep you changing things around to hit the goals for days and days. And when your not playing, you'll be thinking about how you can make your system more efficient. more profitable, ect. 5 star!

Bought it on sale for around 10 bucks. Tried to get refund after giving it a second chance but to late. I guess there are some people that might enjoy it, but I am not a fan.

Step 1. Choose your side means take the lower population or wait in a que. (Only one server)
Step 2. Spawn on a Island filled with hours of training stations .
Step 3. Deploy into people screaming at each other as they all try and give people orders.
Step 4. Grab your gun, gas mask and ammo, then load your gun. Run out and die in 5 minutes.
Step 5. Repeat step 4 over and over and over and then after 4 hours look at map to see nobody made any progress.
You wont see any tank or cool stuff tell your team unlocks it. Keep doing these steps tell you win or lose. Should take a week or more.
