It's castlevania but it isn't. I personally like SoTN, and NDS castlevanias more than this game, but this is still an excellent game and any fan of castlevania series should buy this game. You will not be disappointed.

Probably the best twin-stick shooter Steam has to offer.

Lots of stages.
Lots of different characters.
Lots of challenge.
Lots of fun.

For any person who loves old-school twin-stick shooters, this is a must buy.

This game is Radd and in this game, white men can't jump (If you remember the 90s basketball movie). But they do have bionic arms and variety of different weapons to shoot bad guys with.

Perfect re-creation of the 80s NES classic. Soundtrack is pure gold and it maintains the retro-feel while sounding very modern.

Steam version is the 3rd copy I own for this game so that Is why I don't have that many hours on this. I have this game also for PS3 and Xbox 360.

I paid 5 euros for the DLC, that is a fair price for this. I was already at level 80 when I started the DLC, the coliseums did not offer any real challenge so I played trough this DLC in about an hour. You get few short story clips and some costumes, and that's that. Worth 5 euros, not more.

If this game could speak (with schwarzenegger accent), it would say "Come with me, if you want to be entertained"

A solid experience, not perfect game by any means but so entertaining that when I played this I said "I'll be back" to myself after I stopped playing. And I kept coming back, for 3 playthroughs and about 30 hours of playtime.

I don't have many hours in this game...yet. But so far I think this is the best Soul Calibur game since Soul Calibur 2. And that game has been my favourite for a long, long time. SC3.4 and 5 I never cared about much. But this did something very very right. There is also lots of content for single player mode.

I really don't know what to say. I really wanted to like this game since I liked Risen 2 and Risen 3, but it just doesn't do the job.

The first 10 hours are absolutely horrible. I was seriously thinking of quitting the game. Then I got to enlist to my first faction around hour 15. Then the game started to get better, but just slightly. I honestly played it trough only because of the story. I wanted to know what is going on and why. It took me bit over 40 hours to finish. Would I play it again? I don't know. I would love to give a second chance to this game but I remember the beginning and I don't want to go trough that hell anytime soon.

5/10 - Risen 3 was better.

Nice looking game but nothing special. I grew up with games like this. Contra, Gunstar Heroes, Axelay, etc. and many other games like that. Once you learn the patterns, there is nothing too hard about this game. I just had to try this to know what people were talking about, but just as i thought, this game is just old-school. And when you die, it does not even bother because i know it was MY fault. The game is not hard, you just suck.

Absolute joy to play. Difficulty level is just right for quick RELAXING. Great soundtrack, great retro-gameplay. I highly recommend this game to everyone who love old-school shooters.
