Early Access Review
- Running on 3080 TI 4K Monitor, i9-12900K CPU running around 80 -120 FPS
- Gameplay is smooth, gunplay is okay, AI not super difficult. Assume this will be tweaked as EA progresses.
- PVE missions are a nice change of pace, curious to see what they do with them and when teams start PVPing more.
- Biggest issue at the moment is server performance, some disconnects/rubber banding.

Overall this is a solid iteration in the genre. A dialed back version of Tarkov that allows for more flexibility. Def early access, but imho worth the money for what is currently there.

This game is great, going to be a great game over the cold winter months. Art design is unique and really sets this game apart! Gameplay is a bit tough to learn at the start, but once you get the hang of it everything starts to flow. Can't wait to see where this leads!

Gameplay:
So much detail in this game. You can tell the developers really wanted to hit home the processes, industry, and all the little details that were missed in the first game. There are different strategies and techniques when starting a city from this version to the first version. Seems to take a bit more time to get the city really started and up and running, not a bad thing. Overall after 5 hours I am impressed and look forward to continue learning and building.

Performance:
I am getting between 30 and 60 FPS on a 3080 with a intel 12900K. Really do not see many/noticeable issues on performance when playing the game. I tweaked a few settings based on the guides and it bumped fps by about 10. Understand some users appear to be having more issues than me, but do not think it justifies review bombing. Game is worth it and runs fine for simulation.

Overall:
Worth the buy. Review bombing is toxic.

Played 10 hours so far. Plays like Conan/Life is Feudal baby.

Summary - if you like Age of Conan and Life is Feudal, this is right down the middle of those games. Overall seems quite smooth and a lot of potential. Find a group.

The Good:
- Great Graphics
- No performance issues or crashes for EA
- Servers Seem fine
- Looks like quite a bit of content for EA
- Progression seems rewarding
- World seems very large and a lot to explore
- AI good counter to PVP

The Okay:
- Def need a group to play/enjoy all aspects of game
- Combat is a bit clunky and takes getting used to
- level 20+ the grind gets a bit slower
- Not clear how jump to PVP servers work and if you can go back to PVE servers

- big cities
- modding
- a lot of decent priced content
- great developers

What more to say, its a great game and is what you make of it. Its a shame the SimCity/Maxis developers were inhibited by EA. This is exactly what a city simulator should be.

So far really enjoy the game. It requires a good team, communication, and coordination for it to truly be fun and rewarding. Love the speed of the game, the graphics, and most of the maps. Waiting on some improvements around movement and gun-play, but for EA it is quite polished.

Overall, if you are looking for a tactical realism WW2 game that is not clunky, this is your game. That said, if you have a team that is not communicating or coordinating the game can be truly frustrating. That I blame on the players and not the game. So if you end up buying it, please communicate with your squad!

Typical Call of Duty Game. No lean. No Recoil/weapon sway. Not realistic attachments for the time. Game felt hectic and was a sniper fest. This game is clearly a direct console port. Shame they dont allow modding or dedicated servers.
