A brilliant introduction to rogue-likes and the first game I kickstarted, FTL allows for overall control of your spaceship by ordering your crew around to fix systems and man stations. The design is simple and intuitive, and the ability to pause at anytime extremely valuable, allowing for perfect co-ordination of all weapons to destroy your foes! But watch out for incoming fire, get your shields up quickly and maintain power to them or you will be overwhelmed! Take care however; leave the power to the O2 systems off for too long and your crew will asphyxiate! However letting the air out of the ship? A great way to deal with boarders and fire, just open the external doors and watch them die.... just be sure that the door control still functions or you won't be able to shut them again...

A great little game and one I fully recommend, just expect to fail many times before you succeed! Fully ahead thrusters!
