As one of the few examples of early access games done RIGHT, this game gives you everything it promises, and more, and I genuinely think this this is my favourite game at the moment! I'm not going to lie, I bought this game because it looked really pretty, and I wanted something relaxing and exploratory to play, that's the only reason, but upon playing it I realised I had been given so much more.

Whilst I was right about the beautiful graphics and details in this game, it also has a lot of detailed storyline and information that you learn throughout the game. With a nicely done crafting system and blueprints you have to find and research along the course of the storyline and through exploration, it makes the gameplay much more immersive.

However this game is as terrifying as it beautiful as you delved deeper into the vast alien ocean, and explore all sorts of biomes and creatures, not all of which are friendly! I'm only 27 hours into this game at the time of writing this review, and still haven't explored even a fraction of the map.

(I'm a bit of a wimp, and the thought of entering the deeper, darker parts of the ocean scare me at this point.)

I'd recommend this game to anyone, as it's pretty easy to learn, and even at full price of £19.49 it's worth every penny.

Techinical Stuff:
-I recommend you meet the recommended requirements for this game (obviously) or higher, to be able to fully appreciate the beauty of it, as the graphical details are one of the most charming features.
-Game has no auto-save, which is a perfect for this type of game, an actual god-send. But don't forget about it or you'll find yourself losing hours of work and exploration without saving before you quit!
-Singleplayer only, to many people's dismay. Part of me wishes there was a multiplayer, but I'm also glad it's singleplayer, as you get to enjoy the game in its entirety.
-There are a few bugs, but nothing I've found to be game-breaking as of yet, and most of which are easily avoidable..
