I played this one after Metro Exodus, and a lot of things about the game I wouldn't have been able to figure out without having played the later one first; the in-game help/tutorial systems are pretty lacking in this one.

That being said, it is a great game! I wish there was more lore about the Dark Ones, but it's probably covered in the books (which I haven't read). Still room for an interesting future prequel maybe.

This is my favorite DLC because I feel like there's not really any "bad" ending. Well-written, and you get to see a completely different perspective than the main game.

This is a very good DLC; it's not just a prequel, it delves into hard choices and deep introspectives. It's kind of bittersweet... once you play the main campaign you will know the general direction of the ending, BUT the ending still had quite an element of surprise to it.

The new enemies and lack of all the advanced equipment you're used to playing with bring new challenges, and it's quite fun!

For the price, definitely worth it! The two DLC's you get are amazing.

I've never read the book, but this is a truly amazing story experience. I happened to grab it on sale, but it's still worth it several years later. Definitely one of the best written games of all time.

I really WANT to like this game, I do but in its current state I can't. The introductory sequence left me feeling overwhelmed with choices I didn't want to make right away; it wasn't relaxing and fun. Several times I went to go play this game and just couldn't muster the want to.

I reserve the right to change my mind about this later, and I'll still play it just so I can say that I did and see for myself if it's worth it; but as of right now I guess Bethesda has lost its magic to me. I'm sad about it, and the more I learn the sadder I get; I hope it will prove me wrong.

This is obviously the best Pentuple-A game there is with the most content ever! The world is so open, and it is a game! So much fun and amazement!

I'll be honest: it's short and free, but actually decent story-wise. It takes some getting used to the controls and simplistic art style, but overall I love the concepts. Would love to see some more in-depth creations by this guy (FYI he also has another game for pocket change on Itch).

The best thing is how the machines are stateful and interact with each other.

Overall, a decent game. Well written, voice acted, and animated, plus the story line is coherent and has interesting characters. Gameplay is great too, although they really need a level select option once you beat the game; there's no way to go back once you beat it.

One of the greatest games of all time. Mod support, excellent writing, and lovable physics bugs make this a true gem with almost infinite replay-ability.
