It's ok.

The single player game is fun but can get repetitive after a while, the multiplayer is where this game shines and you can have a lot of fun.

It is a good game. There is a main quest line where you can choose one of three factions, however if you do quests for more than one side it disqualifies you from choosing one or both of the factions, there is not much given away regarding this and you can mess up your play through.

I would also advise that you pick your class carefully, if you pick a class that you end up disliking or would rather swap out for a more useful team member, this again might make your play through frustrating. I would recommend that you do some research before selecting your class.

Horse won't come when I call it.

Steam really needs to add a middle option, Also this is a multi player review.

I really love some things about this game such as building, and to some degree combat. I also like trying different builds, strength build one run, intelligence another and so on.

The new 1.0 has improved the look of the game and the new POI's were fun to explore, but 1.0 also has thrown away much of the things that made the game enjoyable for me. I am not a massive fan of the new armour sets and I miss trying to find the specialist bits of clothing and other loot. The trader missions seem almost pointless now and the rewards are pathetic, you may as well ignore the trader and just go from POI to POI.

Trying to force people out of the forest biome by reducing the size of the towns is pointless, if players want to stay in a certain area why not let them if that's how they want to play. You are always going to get the crazy players who bee line straight to the wasteland, or others who prefer desert or snow and others who want to stay in the forest area. The one constant for all these players is that they had been enjoying playing the game their way.

They have also kept the annoying finding books skill progression, while it is exciting getting the books you want at the start, it soon becomes just a boring grind.

In summary they seem to have taken away more from this game than they have added with this update.

I've completed the campaign twice and found it mildly entertaining other than the very linear story.

Career mode. Most missions have reinforcement lances which hit you almost at the same time as the main force, so your lance of 4 mechs is in effect fighting 2 lances totalling 8 mechs almost from the start, in some missions you can add to this turrets which can strip your evasion pips off you even when they are out of sight.

There are other annoying things about this game such as Darius popping up to tell me I'm skint every 5 minutes.

This game is a chore to play rather than being enjoyable. There are other games of the same type which do this so much better.

I like the new game, but cheating is worse than ever, still a thumbs down for me.

Hard game to play solo. Better with friends.

Was on the fence with this one, but the poor quest storylines have pushed me to give this game a thumbs down.

Played this game a long time ago because I watched some youtubers having fun. Me and my friends had fun for a bit and even built a big base which took us a while to build, also we captured a bear in an enclosure. But like most half arsed games like this you play, you have fun then you have your game experience destroyed by outside influences beyond your control.

I good idea of a game left in the dust by developers who didnt have the ability to make their idea reality.

I know it's on sale at the moment but it is not even worth the sale price. On the other hand please buy it and add to the negative reviews :)
