I quite liked Talos Principle. It does a lot with surprisingly few puzzle pieces and keeps mixing things up all the way to the end. Quite pleasant couple dozen hours.

Now that Playstation has announced that Helldivers won't need PSN account activation, I can with good conscience give it a recommendation, the game's pretty nice.

I found the concept curious, but I probably wasn't the target audience. That caused the reveal/s miss the mark completely.

The wheels kinda came off towards the end, but it was still very entertaining nonetheless.

Pretty much the quintessential idle game for me, no macros needed and loads of meaningful content.

Absolutely yes, although the art to me looks hideous, it's a top notch mystery game.

Kinda uninspiring, personal dislike to the soulsborne thing of dropping all your money on death, and as icing on the cake, the game seems to love eating your trigger inputs leaving you mashing the button while enemies wail on you.

After crazy price hikes of dlc, campaign-breaking bugs lingering for months and months, every dlc introducing more bugs than they fix, I no longer think that WH3 is a good product worth my time and money. All bugfixing is left to the modders. All this on top of poor / nonexistent communication from the devs.

A tiny puzzle game with hammy in a good way acting and minimal gameplay. It was okay-to-good.

My objections are purely about subjective story-related matters, from technical standpoint the game was fine, the sprites were fine except a couple janky ones but nothing major, music was good to great.

Roughly my objections boil down to a single point:

Main character's otaku personality

This is a big one. The MC had me really struggling whether the game wanted me to take it seriously or not. The paranoid horny shut-in teenager archetype was a portrayed faithfully, too bad it really went against the mood of the rest of the game. Overall the themes are really grim, but most serious scenes were unavoidably derailed by the main characters "hee hee boobies" random thoughts/delusions. I don't remember any other story having mood whiplashes harder than Chaos Head. Overall the hentai references, random horniness of the MC, and assorted unexpected unnecessary fan service just managed to remove any impact the story would've had on me.
