Dragon's Dogma 2 - Dragonsplague Information
- All consequences from Dragonsplague both can be avoided, and remedied. Dragonsplague does not "ruin your game"
- Actually observed symptoms: pulsing deep red glow in eyes HIGHLY visible in darkness NOT bright light; idle animation of severe headache; idle animation of wiping mouth; idle animation of spitting to the side; NO UNIQUE AUDIO observed; UNIQUE DIALOGUE inconsistent, even when frequently commanding infected Pawn
- Avoid Dragonsplague consequences: Dismiss or end all guest Pawns before resting in any BED (Inn/Home)
- Remedy Dragonsplague consequences: Only use Wakestones to revive specific NPCs whose Side Quest content you wish to explore; ALL ESSENTIAL AND VENDOR NPCs WILL REVIVE / BE REPLACED ANYWAY
- Dragonsplague may "jump" out of one Pawn into a different Pawn during Camp resting
- Pulsing red eyes partially visible while hiring an infected Pawn in the Rift; always check in dark area with normal FX
- Eye shine detection tip: Enter Photo Mode, pan camera to suspected Pawn's face and eyes, reduce Brightness setting; in-engine Brightness washes out the eye glow

Confirmed "Cures" for Dragonsplague
- 1. Pawn is responsible for Cataclysm cutscene
- 2. Dragonsplague "jumps" from infected Pawn into uninfected Pawn during Camp resting
- 3. Infected Pawn is destroyed (Brine / chasm / normal bleed-out / etc.)
