A charming game with enough depth to keep you playing for many many hours.

A real gem of a game. I've not encountered anything that matches it in it's genre, for which I find hard to pinpoint. More than 100 hours playing this game and it's still got more to offer. Love it!

Being a massive fan of Oblivion, I played Fallout 3 and enjoyed it and skyrim to a lesser extent. I played New Vegas and hated it but found Fallout 4 to be a masterpiece. It's really taken on a lot of what I loved from Oblivion, Fallout 3 and other elements such as the workshop to make it engaging and enthralling. In my eyes it blasts Fallout 3 out of the water and sets a new benchmark to try and live up to. There are bugs I have encountered but have found simply restarting or fast travelling sorts them out no problem, nothing like bugs I used to get in Oblivion. If you like Borderlands, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim or a long list of other games, this is the game for you. Magnificent

Great fun whilst infuriating at times. A massive learning curve that never relents due to matchmaking and constant balancing patches. I thoroughly enjoy playing and watching DOTA2 however you have to try to remember to mute trolls and the like and stay focussed on the task at hand.

Started out pretty interesting and fun but I soon got tired of the gameplay. Played 3.8 hours in total and feel no motivation at all to play any more.

So I'm a big M&B fan but for a game that is this old, based on such an olg engine, you would think they would have ironed out the kinks by now. I'm not sure I will buy M&B 2 in light of how buggy the game is and how many crashes I experience.

Pros:

- The setting is much more interesting than previous M&B installments IMO
- It seems genuinely harder than previous installments without loosing playability
- Troop trees are interesting
- It's fun to play if you have many many hours to plough in

Cons:

- Crashes, once battles get larger, doesn;t matter how good your system is, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ old engine crashes ALL the time meaning I cannot progress any further into the game
- VERY VERY slow, you have to run for sometimes 3-5 minutes in EVERY town/city to find NPC physicians and healers and what not. It's a real ball buster and waste of time
- The inventories are still really inconvenient and take lots of time to work through. Sorting armies, levelling heroes and trading is all labour intensive

Many features are a real gimmick that adds bugs to the game such as:

- Ship warfare, full of bugs so you cannot effectively attack enemies, instead you're stucked bugged out whilst your entire army are wiped out in the rest of your ships
- Story quests and landmarks are all bugged to hell, your allies don't start with you, invincible enemies and a long list of other problems still not fixed
