Is the progression part slightly repetitive at some point ? yes. absolutely.

Are the hide and seek not a bit redundant after a while , yeah, totally.

But the setting, the atmosphere, the story, the intrigue, everything made otherwise it worth its every penny.

Also this game was definitely written by someone with kids. I could feel the regrets, I could also feel the love, all in all, a beautiful experience as much as it can be terrifying.

Afterall, if anything, Still Wakes the Deep maybe higlights that the true terror is saying goodbye to those you love, when you don't want to.
