It's the best of the series. Tried the other ones and I was not enjoying them as much. It's got incredibly powerful story and is just way too realistic. Also the weapon system is simply the best of them all. Have fun!

The idea is great, an RPG where it's all about the dialog, with various skill trees that affect the outcome of conversations. I bought the game for that reason.
However, it's not worth it.
First of all, the graphics is super simplistic and rather clumsy to move around. That's not a deal breaker, it's just not very fun to move around in this environment.
Second, the conversations. There is a lot of it, and you'd expect much of it being wacky or odd, but unfortunately it's all about racists and communism - and you kind of have to accept them to progress through the game, which is just sick.
And third, if it's even needed after the previous point, the skill tree is pretty bad. There are too many choices and they all pretty much do the same thing, so it makes it quite pointless.

This is a great game and a novel concept.
The main reason why I don't recommend this game, is because it is kind of a rip off. You get measly 4 scenarios for the price of the game. Yes, that's it. They are hoping that you will pay $10 more for each new scenario. That is just insane.
I've tried the endless mode, and frankly, it just gets boring fast. The beginning is good fun, but then it's just the same over and over. So, if you can nab this game on a huge 80% off sale, go for it. It's fun. But it's so short.

It's a classic, you can't go wrong with it either way.

Surprisingly great game! I was expecting a bit slow game for kids, but really impressed by all the events and all the amazing exploration!

If your favorite part of XCOM are the individual mission, than this is for you.
If you actually enjoy the strategy outside of the missions, than this is a complete letdown!

After playing the Wolfenstein I, this game is a huge disappointment. The story is weak and un-inspiring. The action is chaotic and un-natural. The cut scenes are just garbage.

There should be a huge warning before you buy this game - This is a 20 year old game, are you sure you want to pay $20 for this?
Yes, this is a continuation of a game that was initially released in 98, which is over 22 years ago. Same engine as back than, it almost looks like playing Doom.

Game play - majority of the game consists of walking simulation. You walk, you run and then you walk some more. Lots of pointless walking.

Action - every now and then you get a break from walking and get to fire few bullets. The engine is very, very old, so it's all classic Doom style, you run and shoot, not much strategy, no peeking around corners and such.

Story - Sounds like there should be some kind of story, but it's all pointless as all you are doing is trying to get to one destination. No exciting plot here.

Half life 1 was great in it's days, but there is no way anyone would play it now, as just about any game does thing much better for over 20 years. If you are expecting to have fun with a new exiting game, this is no it. It's just playing extremely old game, solving outdated puzzles and playing an extremely outdated shooter in horrible resolution.

Love X-Com games and this one was billed as very similar. And it all sounds very promising from the intro videos - that is until you play it. It is bad. The graphics is just adequate. The story is a lot of text to read, rather than spoken word or a video.
Hopefully somebody else will make take this idea and make an excellent game out of it.

Great game as any previous Deus Ex. Seemed little bit shorter than usual though.
