The game seems to have some level of meta progression, trolling, and bizzare aspects of what the jokers can do !

great bullet hell rogue lite, with a rare unique gameplay ! At this price point tons of stuff to do ! buy it play it enjoy !

Good alternative to little nightmares starts off quite chill and easy but around the mid point of the ship things take a turn for the more complex, lacks a bit of polish in some area's and some of the more puzzling aspects feel counter intuitive.

Possible references induce a leonardo di caprio point meme moment !

Story also starts slow but throws an interesting twist ! Didn't 100% tho.

love this game, demo was a good taste of what was to come and they still threw in many surprises.

Some ppl think it would benefit from generating stl files for use with a 3d printer, because this game's potential for making 3d models for real has even bigger potential like for dnd and other table top games.

Great game loved it all, felt the last bit was somewhat soured by the pixel perfect platforming requirement for what felt like an out of the blue difficulty spike.

Music very fitting and hitting the right emotional beats.

yes the ' duck / squat' looks like i squish him with invisible petting hand and i love it.

impressive puzzle game, not too difficult and interesting story and well made

At 5 quid it's got potential and i hope it gets the chance to do so, will keep it and return on and off to per update.

Reasoning:

The rng is weighted ( at least for me) to be on the hard side, things start off slow and relaxed but at wave 8 upwards it hits a spike that with out a certain level of dmg / income you will get utterly demolished, i found the lack of meaningfull upgrade points/ buffs/ level ups aren't enough to keep pace with the spike in difficulty which i think for a first level / tutorial is excessive.

By all means make your game hard but at least give players a chance to learn it first and after a level or 2 ramp things up.

Other wise people will just hit a wall of failed runs and give up, which is unfair to the dev and the state of the game which other than the difficulty has polish, some good mechanics and fun idea's, i think the best thing to do is one of two things, give upgrades a few extra points or take down the enemies hp a bit or remove the caps of dmg / income as i've tried to put loads of boosts down but they aren't enough.

bottom line is give it a chance at a low price point, support the dev and hope the game is balanced as it progresses

point n click FTL meets oxygen not included, simple to play, fun with friends and randoms, easy to join, good game for streamers , could do with a save function at time of writing for those captains quitting during a run, so they keep upgrades instead of a complete reset ( yes it's a rogue like / lite ) but it just makes a return to the game less daunting !

Update - The small dev team of 3 guys and one cat, like to keep the community updated, and are adding content as well as qol fixes.

There are now premium skins, ( game is still free) for those who wish to support these devs, a daily run with bonus xp, new encounters, desktop players can host a ship after any character reaches level 3.

Update - a daily challenge mode with a set map for all who play it and a scoreboard, captains chat, no filter to inform crew who aren't watching stream.

Another 'tutorial' run has been added to the main map which is essentially an easy mode.

Great game, truly bite sized, done in 2 hours n 30 mins ish not too easy not too hard, me and my friend are still talking !
