It's not Viscera Cleanup Detail, although some of the mechanics are the same.

Still fun to play.

Seems simple to play. But requires perhaps problem-solving, puzzle-solving, critical thinking---simply because you have a limited number of spaces to put down things at the cost of Eon. Not a criticism; on the contrary----this game is a gorgeous gem that's a weird hybrid of civilization builder and city builder.

You can get hooked easily trying to make your little settlements grow from a tiny blip to a massive city with a number of "wonders" you can strive for, whilst completing quests (objectives, actually).

Difficult to explain on my part. Might I suggest watching "Let's Play....Reus 2" and you'll see what I mean.

And you know what? There's no violence, no nudity, no profanity. This is a game where kids can play, where you can sit down with a family and just bring a utopia to life together! Or at least that's what my impression is. I haven't tried the first Reus but that game seems to have warfare between your cities and where you can send your Giants to do battle. I'm not sure if that will be in this game, but in the relatively short time I've tried it, there seems to be no bloodshed whatsoever. A welcome pace to ultra-violent games nowadays but who knows if the developers will add warfare and violence to this one.

Don't get me wrong, I liked games like Black and White from back in the day. Where you can either be a benevolent god or an evil one, and shape you pet according to how you treat it. Reus 2 isn't like that. I think if you have kids and want to spend time together, have them play this and join your loved one.

Game is still in development. It's fun to run a store.

Only thing missing is fat hillbillies in way too small clothing using link cards and getting cash illegally, and lazy goofballs hoarding the store power scooters while old people and disabled look on helplessly.

It's not bad, but not better than Dungeons 3.

Okay. I'm not recommending this game purely because it isn't finished. Not even close to. That's it's only weak aspect - not being finished. Other than that, it's a fun game.

It's current state is approximately 33% finished, and it shows in the game.

Manor Lords is a strategy city builder sim, set in a medieval setting. I think there is only one person behind Slavic Magic, the developer. But in my opinion, doing a good job. You can buy Manor Lords if you want to, but current updates will come out probably at a very slow pace. There are things to the game that hasn't been included just yet. An example would be that there is a tech tree and there are development points you get for progression in the game, but there aren't many "active" elements you can invest in. I'm just going to give a haphazard example: there are four development paths, one for trade, another for the gathering, etc. Suppose there are slated to be 10 developments in each path of the development limb, but you can only have 4 in each (maximum) because the other tech areas aren't included yet, so buy it at your own risk only because it's largely unfinished because of this. There are other undeveloped aspects to this game which would be TL:DR so I won't get that depth, so I hope you'll forgive how vague I am at this.

Now don't get me wrong. I was one among many that had this game wish listed, and having seen the teasers for this game, was immediately drawn in. This game **IS** (or probably WILL BE) the medieval building sim you've been waiting for, with elements that kind of look like Total War regarding strategic combat. The game does look gorgeous. And it has "organic building" when your people begin putting up buildings. The roads you put down seem to grow from a basic worn-down path on the earth and become wider with what appears to be wagon tracks if it is a common route---it seems that way. Manor Lords is my go-to game that I am drawn to among a selective few games whose icons are on my desktop. Really, I love jumping into this game and building. I'll go a few hours into this game and start a new game, only because (to me) there's no point in going further due to the game being unfinished. Yes, I don't recommend the game right now only because of it, it's unfinished state is its drawback. But I commend the developer for the progress so far and I seriously hope this developer isn't the devious "I'll bait everyone into thinking this game will be awesome, and grab as much cash as I can!", if you know what I mean.

In my opinion, I'll keep the game around and watch it afar, hoping for updates. I have heard that there is a test server people can try out where the developer is trying out newer elements that haven't been published yet, and some players can get in it. Me, I'm not interested, too much to do. I'll just sit back and continue to play the game as it is for the time being and rely on a nice, hot, cup of Joe Coffee whilst waiting for the big update...if and when it comes. Which I'm optimistic for.

May I recommend looking at YouTube for Manor Lords gameplay before trying.

And enjoy your cup of Joe Coffee and have a great and awesome day.

I love this game. Superior to Deadpoly in every regard.

Create a character, assign him or her a profession, and enter a world of the zombie Apocalypse. You'll need food and water in order to survive; find weapons and clothing and armor (or scavenge and try to craft things for yourself), and try to live one more day in the landscape. Build your own base and go looking for better gear and a vehicle to drive. Be wary of irradiated areas as too much radiation will impact your health. Luckily you can find things like first aid items that will help recover health, and rad pills to restore your radiation meter. You can also find things like certain respirators in which you will need filters; these masks help radiation resistance. It gets dark at night so you'll need a flashlight and batteries. There's night vision goggles you can find as well. Beware there is a dark side to humanity in that you can find NPC human bandits that will attack you. If you've got the gun and the nerve, you can fight them back.

Along the way you might find friendly scavengers who you can hang with and they'll provide added firepower or melee combat and attack hostiles that are nearby. You really can't interact with them much at present. Consider them like a friendly NPC spawn that comes and goes. But you can find wandering traders and trading posts and you can trade for things. There's even safe zones where you can find traders and some friendly NPCs if you need a breather.

What's more to say? Check out "Let's Play Surroundead" if you want more detail. But for now, despite some glitches, it is mostly an awesome game. But the developers are working to make the game better.

And I can't state it more enough. I played Deadpoly before Surroundead and, at the time, Surroundead was thought to be made by the same group of developers because of the assets that were used. Deadpoly has since used a different development and, well, I absolutely hate Deadpoly now. But others seem to like it, and that's ok. I won't trash the game just to troll their fanbase. It's not cool.

So try Surroundead. I think you'll like it. The only bad side at present, besides some glitches, is there's no multiplayer...yet.

What. The. HELL. did you Developers do to the game?

Surroundead is superior. I hate Deadpoly's new graphics and general feel. It used to feel more awesome when it used the same kind of resources Surroundead has. I absolutely hate it now.

I know I don't have a lot of time in this game. The first few hours I had was back when it was tough but still kind of cool. I backed away for a bit to see what new things would be added...

...and I don't like this game now.

I hate to compare it to Surrounded, but that game is far better to survive in, has better loot, and the characters are more fun to look at with the common resources that it shares with other games that use 'em.

Sorry, but I gave this game a chance and now it's in my "utter crap" pile.

Feels anticlimactic. Has nothing to do with sex, I mean, this sequel feels soulless.
