Okay, after 10 hours of gameplay I have to say - damn, game is SOOO good!
Initially I thought the graphics are too demanding so far, but nothing is what it seems on first glance. The effects, though, yup, they are worth it. The storm is something to behold! Not to mention all those effects through fog - nice one, devs!

I would even say it´s a bit better than Chernobylite. Yes, I hear you "You can´t compare those two games!" - but yes, I can, but PD had much more cardiac arrest moments. Damn those tourists forming a line during storm chase sequence and I had to drive through storm, darkness and from slope in near darkness.

So any upgrades, modifiers and zones (and nasty suprises) and just modifying and repairing car is pretty fun. Not to mention scavenging, which can be interesting and sometimes pretty angering.

I will say that, the only, ONLY thing I mind was the feeling to become a flagpole after unlocking the decals stations. I´m usually fine with all what you support, but this "Hey, you have to know ALL of this!" and forced was pretty counter productive in my case. But it was only one time - so can´t complain too much. And no, you can´t say I´m totally against it - becuse I supported the game by buying it (and something surely goes on support of those groups).

I like how often the game is patched and the dev team is doing their best. You are great, talented and I wish you a load if inspiration!

+ Fluid and gorgeous graphics!
+ Some locations are wonderfull
+ Haunting cases are the best, second is main quest and activities are mediocre
+ I liked both main characters
+ After the ending, I wouldn´t mind to banish/sarcifice everyone
+ Adaptive compass, which reacts where you should turn or go.
+ The exploration is rewarding (for someone who is completionist)
+ Main quest and hauntings are without bugs
+ Game is very long
+ Harsh times and characters reflect it. A lot of abrasive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but it´s true to the time period
+ Plenty to find and plenty to do (completionist will really like it)
+ Ending is good

- crashing, but just sometimes and someplace
- Ivy; jesus Devs, I will send nightmares on you for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "puzzle"!
- So much running around!
- you can´t teleport to nearest rest point and they can be far away
- world is empty
- it´s banisher, not parkour horse! So many "E" mashing just during traversing.
- just few types of enemies
- combat is boring, maybe a bit interesting in the beginning
- what´s with that stupid gesture? Raised forearm.
- writing is attrocious. Are you mimicking that boring Hollywood nonsense?
- Second half of the game is really bad (but ending is quite good)

I have mixed feelings - from "WOW" to "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, that´s so bad I should shelf it".
Had thoughts to not recommend it, but that would be unfair. If you are going into
it with those flaws in mind, you will have good time most time.

If you expect it will be the similiar as Everspace 2 - you will be disappointed as I was.

The controls are responsive, but it´s simply FTL-like game. Roguelike in flesh (or possibly in space). The voiceactors are the same as in E2 (which is great).

I ended up with ship which can use drones and is tankier, which is a tad easier. Otherwise, the zones are gorgeous! The efects are top notch and the music is...well, all over the place, but pretty good.

While I didn´t enjoy it as much as E2 and personally isn´t for me...for someone who likes roguelikes it´s must have. At least I supported devs with buying this game :)

Enjoyed the game, while having blast and cursed as sailor from time to time:

+ interesting story
+ sci-fi and fantasy combination done right
+ I liked most of the characters
+ some choices have heavy weight
+ I loved the ratties!
+ "Grey" world - I wanted to go solo for one faction, then changed my mind
+ architecture
+ gorgeous and various surroundings
+ while the conversations might seem rough around the edges - it´s written how people would talk. Fine with me!
+ replayability (at least twice, maybe thrice)

+/- voice acting is something you have to get used to
+/- sometimes it´s lenghty to find path to your objective and some characters are quite well hidden

- minor and major bugs, but NO GAMEBREAKING ones.
- journal should be remade (most quests are still active even though you changed faction for example and text is TINY)
- last boss fight is rather...quirky right now
- movement is something you have to get used to or you will curse it
- hit boxes are sometimes janky and you will either not hit anybody or they will hit you from a distance

Gem in the rough (for now), but just for the story and for the choices, I recommend it.

I recommend the game for diehard Alien fans. The story is like another movie, action packed and the love for the lore is visible and I love it! I bought it on sale and played it mostly becuse of story.

WARNING!
I DON´T recommend it becuse of how buggy (and I don´t mean the xenomorphs) the game is.
- right now the loading between areas is one big lag (mostly with console gamers in cross platform) whis is deadly.
-no microphone or written chat
- game likes to disconnect a lot (no dedicated servers)
- there is still problem where game corrupts save files (didn´t occured to me, but it´s possible)

The game is pretty good, but personally it was just one-time campaing session, enjoyed it - but won´t return for multiple plays.

Originally I ticked "Not recommended" becuse of preformance issues, but after completion of the story. I can´t do it.

+ Both main characters are lovable, bantering is top notch
+ If you love to explore, hunt for clues, unraveling mysteries, this game is for you. Game rewards you for your time and effort. I haven´t even finished all side mysteries and I spent A LOT of time.
+Changing of seasons and time is SO well done! Events are repeating during whole day, true, but good luck finding them all on your first walkthrough.
+Somebody said the game is easy and enemies not tough enough. Nope, they are right, but they can give you hard time.
+writer of the story should get award, how the jigsaw comes together.
+ Dishonored/Bioshock - if you crafe for more and miss those games, you should get this one.

- You will have to play A LOT of repeating if you want to unravel the most of mysteries and even main or side quests
-Performance will be wonky (at least until some point)

If you want to play dice and risk you got underperfoming game, the gaming experience is it worth it.

CONS:

- bad quest architecture. They send you to locked areas which will you unlock much later
- markers are bugged and some quests require to restart game - so enemies will respawn correctly
- checkpoints are HORRENDOUS! Not only they send you maybe 200-500 meters from the objective, but also respawn enemies.
- prepare for vermintide of enemies during boss fights or hold the spot. Devs who do that (Hello, Wolcen!" should suffocate by the amount of this!
- devs don´t know what enemy level will you meet. It´s just lvl 17? Whoops! You will meet lvl 25. In the several other zones where you should meet "just" level 21 BOOM! You will meet lvl 30. Devs can´t count, it seems.
- backtracking. You will do this. A LOT.

Okay, that´s enough badmouthing, let´s move to something more pleasant.

PROS:

+ they made the game with a lot of love for detail and esthetics. LOVE this ascpect
+ controls are pretty good
+ Main story is decent, is closed - but a bit with cliffhanger. Fine by me
+ for twin-stick shooter long playtime
+ on my system gameplay was smooth even on ultra (stuttering just while loading new zone or something like that)
+ plenty of enemies
+ Graphic is simply gorgeous, could be better than some AAA games
+ some characters are likeable, some funny and generally well done
+ enough gadgets and light RPG to toy with

Even though PROS are overweighting CONS, I thought not to recommend the game. But overall I had a lot of fun with the game, so I recommend it (even with it´s quirks and flaws - but wait for patching it up).

7/10

Okay, consider this mostly as mixed review (positive becuse of my personal feeling about it as whole). Also, original Rune missed me, so I don´t have any nostalgia and didn´t expect nothing at all from this game.

+ Large world
+ Skills are quite usefull
+ Even easy is challenging
+ Finding menhirs with lore and craft recipes in it
+ I liked how you develop your characters - the feeling of progress is fine
+ Bulding aspect is good
+ IF the combat works, it´s quite fun
+ Crafting is very decent
+ Spent whole time just before going to the cave just running around - it might be long game
+ A lot of gear and items, ,which gradually get better.

- horrendous optimalisation (for me, just in camp and around, otherwise i got 60 FPS)
- Some places on the maps are barren
- Graphics is dated (not THAT bad, but it´s visible a lot)
- effects of skill are underwhelming
- respawning of enemies is insane
- grindy as hell
- visual and mechanical bugs (floating items or bellow surface)
- combat is clunky, misses when strike should hit. Works at 70%
- durability should be increased a tad, if you get mauled by bear, you can repair immideately
- archers are arrow hoses.
- When under attack, the blood effect is horrendous - cant see much when middle of big fight.
- Invetnory is cluttered, small and chaotic.

There might be a lot of other things, but I´m not there yet. I gave this game a chance, becuse current devs seem to really care about it. What I´ve seen, they did good job in ressurecting this pile of sadness.

Good luck, devs!

EDIT: It seems devs didn´t hold up to their word, so thumbs down!

Just finished the game.

+ It´s Serious Sam - seriously
+ Over the top humour (with puns intended)
+ Characters are likeable
+ Music is VERY good
+ Graphic is detailed and fluent (got stronger PC, so I never went under 50 FPS)
+ Weapons are seriously powerfull (at least double barreled shotgun - my most favourite)
+ Suprisingly detailed environment and architecture (interiors of castle is great!)
+ Story is polished and enojed it!
+ Finished all side stories and the game was long enough to be enjoyfull. Never got bored.
+ Had A LOT of laughs around pop culture references, puns, humor etc.
+ Sam did few things which suprised me a lot (and were rather inspirational) - even though those were details...thumbs up!

- whole military thing wasn´t my cup of tea (in the end it´s more mixed than negative, becuse I liked the cast)
- some maps were EMPTY! Man, I had to get a werebull becuse there was no vehicle around!
- some maps are a tad devilish (for someone it´s a pro, for me a tiny annoyance...but just tiny)

For some reasons my most favourite creatures were syrian werebull and that whale-like spaceship.

I give it serious 8/10

I couldn´t wait to play this game. And was it worth it? Absolutely!

+Quick and adrenaline fueled combat (I played D2016 on controller - this time, i would have BAD time)
+Weak-point system is very nice touch a now you literally shred demons to bit
+Becuse the game is quite exhausting (esp. combat), the 13 hours are the exact time for a campaign.
+Graphic is exquisite and absolutely fluent - couldn´t believe it, but it´s true.
+A LOT of enemy types to tear apart
+Some music is based on original tracks - thumbs up for that!
+Weapons have bite are fun to use.
+Story is suprisingly great for a DOOM (and I hoped for that)
+Runes, equipment, upgrades - the game is more complex now and it suits it.
+Exploration of various environments feels good and rewarding
+Backstory and other characters are good.
+Codex was great for me, becuse I like reading.

Also, there are some negative aspects:

- Menus will take some time to get use to - a tad cluttered and colourfull.
- Action was interrupted becuse of platforming (and there were few times I really disliked it)
- Sometimes it felt more like "DOOM Raider" becuse of all those platforms.
- You wish to be octopus to use everything efficiently - a lot of keys for various equipment and changing mods during batte will make your brain melt.
-That priestess looked like she came from XCom game and her writing was from Marvel (pompous, cringy, ugh)

Fun for a weekend, totally recommend!
