I must be playing a different game here. Just killed my first Tanta and so far the game has been great. Not amazing, but great nonetheless. The writing is genuinely funny to me and, surprisingly, sometimes hits way too close to home... None of the "cringe" everyone's talking about... Performance on my RTX 4090 could have been better though, had a few crashes but oh well. Happens in every big game lately, just the state of the industry, it seems. Price may be too high but what are you gonna do? If you have the means, treat yourself and get this game, it's good!

After all the updates the game is still CPU-bound, utilizing only 2 threads... Because of this, my framerate with RTX 4090 dipped into 40s a lot more than I'd like, unfortunately. Despite that, I played on hardest difficulty and this is how long it took me to complete it once. I took my time and enjoyed most of what this game has to offer. It is a surprisingly slow paced survival horror that looks and sounds great. The pacing is what really sets it aside from Dead Space remake to which, sadly, it doesn't hold a candle... Still, I definitely recommend it. If you have hardware to run this, it's worth it.

Even though I like walking horror sims a lot, I did not have a good time. Painfully slow, confusing and frankly dated. Since it's supposed to be a soul trip, maybe it feels different if you play under the influence... Welp, I played sober and it felt like a waste of my time.

After the latest patch that added "classic" combat setting I've made more progress in a single session than during past 2 days worth of playtime on "challenging" ("Hard") difficulty. The game is infinitely more enjoyable now, and plays just as expected from Darksiders title - fluid, fast and fun. I highly recommend buying this game If you were previously concerned about the difficulty or the technical issues. Most of them are fixed now, and developers truly deserve our support for listening to the community and reacting fast.
