Played this past weekend on a free weekend pass. Overall, it's 20 minutes of slugging through trenches or ditches to get to the next checkpoint, only to be shelled at the checkpoint spawn. Quite literally, spawn and then you have to take cover behind a shoddy brick wall until you can run away from the spawn point because of the constant mortars. Rinse/repeat and try to push forward. No killcam or shot indicators, which I suppose is OK, but that 10 minutes of you sneaking around to the next point ends with a bullet coming from no-one-knows-where and you're back to the start. I don't have any friends playing, so I never had a coordinated squad, YMMV. Since the review is yes/no, I have to say no, but I haven't experienced it to its full potential.

Great game for $8 on a Steam sale. I would NOT recommend playing without a semi-cohesive group. The penalty for it is high in that it's a long respawn timer and often you can't even respawn without someone capturing the next point. It's frustrating to find a nice choke point to to focus fire, only to be forced to move or fall back a minute later. There's a multitude of pathways to get to the same point, so splintering off seems to be expected, but often leads to getting lost on a dead-end.

Friendly/enemy bot mechanics are a bit funky and, as a brief summary, can often behave as such. Sometimes the friendly player indicators don't popup in CQC fast enough, leading to friendly fire. Similarly, if you're not familiar with all the enemy/friendly uniforms for classes it can be hard to distinguish friend from foe.

I, for one, like this game. I played through the beta and enjoyed my time. I racked up a few dozen hours in game as a F2P account. I have a only a few gripes. Keep in mind, I'm all F2P at the moment, and I have a 0 friends list so I play alone.
1) Battle queues can be extremely long. The type of battle you join affects this greatly(skirmishes vs full on war, etc)
2) If you do join a full war, with General $ and reinforcements, and you are getting slaughtered, there's literally no reason to stay in game. If you're pushed back to the last spawn, you're a farm for kills. When your k/d ratio is always counted, you're better off leaving than trying to fight back.
3) Public games are a free 4 all. I understand that it's unavoidable, but damnit guys, when you get a group and your push wipes out half the team quickly, you have to push forward and not wait for them to respawn at the checkpoint you're trying to take.

IMO, I think they should drop the F2P tag and make it a cheap buy (like $10 or less) to get you a basic setup, and go upgrades and microtransactions from there - like cheap membership for +bonuses/etc
