I have not played the first PoE, so my perspective is only from having played PoE 2, and I really like it. It's been really good out of the gate, minus a few quibbles I have (I hate the honor system). I love the boss battles. Can't wait for more gear to be introduced.

I very rarely put the time in to actually beat a game, I bounce off of most games before I can finish them. I put the time in to beat this game.

The core gameplay is rock solid. Each class is fun and brings something useful to the game. Most of the weapons are fun to use. The developers are very actively supporting the game, adding new content on the regular, without all the "normal" predatory season pass based content unlocks.

Great to play with friends, or with total strangers, which is rare for these types of games.

It's worth it at full price, and is a complete steal on sale.

Super chill, extremely low stakes, and it has a squeak button. None of the puzzles/tasks are particularly hard, but the game looks real pretty. I would play a sequel if they made one.

I beat this game in less than 10 hours, but plan to put more time in just to replay the levels I really enjoyed, and to beat some of the challenges. Overall it's very, very, good and worth the full price. If you like brawlers this is a must play. The combat is top notch, the level design is overall pretty good. There are some driving levels that feel more like a distraction than anything else, but are not particularly difficult so it's fine. Some other levels have a gimmick that may be a little annoying, but nothing that made me hate a particular level, just like it less. The story is over the top and ridiculous, as any good brawler should be.

If you don't like this game please remove me from your friends list and never talk to me again. It's that good.
