This is a beautifully absurd Czech point-and-click adventure game

I got it because my family has Czech history. Yes, I'm that absurd. :P

I love this game! Very calming, soothing music and beautiful visuals, and the story has multiple layers and branches to it. 10/10

I can not speak much to the combat aspect of the game, as I primarily fashioned myself a space-trucker for the wealthy NPCs in this game, and as an explorer - but, as the Seuss poem starts, "oh, the places you'll go".

So many places to visit and see, so many beautiful visuals. The sounds of the ships and ambience are there. I really enjoy playing the game in the manner above to relax and see the sights, as it were. Customizing your ships and your own pilot character is fun, and the views for each can make for some impressive screenshots.

It -is- a bit of a time-sink, given that it may take a while to modify a given ship to the point of it being able to jump as far as possible - and never mind the galactic distances involved. Yes, really. Also, it's more of an open-world space simulation; while there is somewhat of a story present, you get to define your role in the game's universe, er, galaxy. Trader? Passenger liner pilot? Bounty hunter? Space pirate? Any of it, and any of it, are there - so many options, so many things to learn. That can be overwhelming - so best to plan and make some choices earlier on to prepare your ship - and yourself.

Standout cons: The AI / penal system needs to be re-balanced somewhat when it comes to interdictions and in-game player crimes (fines, bounties, etc). Also, I'd like (for my pilot) to be able to get out of my seat and walk around my ship - for those ships that are large enough for that to occur (e.g. Beluga).

I do understand that planet-walking will occur with the next update, so I am looking forward to that, along with a revamped planet simulation system!

This game is, visually, gloriously beautiful running on Ultra video settings at 1920x1080. Story-wise? There is a lot to work through in terms of side-quests, alongside the main quest.

My one concern is the dialog system - if there is any effect on NPCs in this game, it doesn't seem to matter much, if at all, in the end. Which makes for apparently linear gameplay, of a sort. Still, a fun adventure to romp through the Commonwealth and see various places I know rendered in a Fallout future!
