Took me about 90 hours to complete it 100% and it was pure fun from start to finish.
Characters are likeable, story is well written, acting and voice acting is perfect with some minor flaws and inconsistencies in some dialogue. But they are rare.
I havent played DA2 and DAI but i played DAO. If you are into Dragon Age lore and you made decisions in the first games that have no impact on Veilguard, thats a bummer and legit criticism. So be aware if you are a big Dragon Age fan, read some reviews that go more into detail in this regard, as I cant comment on that one.
Just please dont listen to these insecure crybabies that cant comprehend their own sexuality. Most statements about that are bloated lies.
There is much to criticize like mentioned above, the 2 hour of so called "woke content" isnt it.

Bioware did deliver a beautiful game, with great stories and a very fun combat system which is very action oriented. You can like that or you dont. It was super fun the whole game in my opinion. I also liked it not being classical Open World. Its fragmented in regions that you can explore and it is not full of collectibles no one cares about in the end.
This makes the game kinda compact in a good way.

Yes the game is modern and thats okay. Dragon Age Origins was modern too. Very modern to be honest, people just tend to forget the old CRPG which kinda got destroyed by the modern take on RPG like DAO. So if youre thinking DAV killed classic Dragon Age, keep in mind Dragon Age killed a whole genre back in the day, which is resurrected nowadays by games like Pillars of Eternity or to name a little more famous one, Baldurs Gate 3.

Take this game for what it is and not for what you want it to be. Yes nostalgia can hit hard and yes this is not like Dragon Age Origins but it is a good game and for me it is a good Dragon Age game.
In the end this is more of a Mass Effect game in a fantasy scenario.

One of the best games i played this year. Just pure fun and catches the whole Indiana Jones theme perfectly.
If i had to criticize something, the AI is plain stupid. Like really stupid sometimes. On the other hand, they are fascists, stupidity is to be expected.

Its plagued with bugs and inconsistencies but its still Game of the year for me.
There is no game out there that brings this specific feeling STALKER does. Also this is an insane base for mod support.

Like every iteration of this franchise, it gets much hate in the first weeks. This one is no exception.
Every new title enhances some aspects of the game but it is nothing groundbreaking.
To some this isnt enough, to some, like me, it is.

Im loving the new graphics and the ground deformation. Ground deformation has no real effect on gameplay, it just gets a little bumpier, thats it. But its a step in the right direction, which could be a gamechanger IF Giants will fix something else, but ill get to that later.

The AI is actually usable now. You can send them on fields, send them to the store, send them to storage, unload some barley and send them to a selling point. They get stuck sometimes, but it is faaar better than anything we had in older Farming Simulators.

Fruit Types and production chains are more varied now. We have a ton of products and facilitys.
Also the machines are more varied in my opinion, but in one category you got lesser types of machinery. So overall we have less machines than in FS22, pretty sure you can google the exact amount. But it feels like lesser content.

New Animals are nice to have but they are pretty much reskins from existing animals and doenst need any special handling. At least they bring new products and production chains.

Oh and the UI is new and i like it. But this is pretty subjective. Others hate it, i think it is clear and crisp.

So but now, my biggest problem with this game and to be honest with the whole franchise and how Giants is handling this game as a Sim.
Yes, this is a Sim. Where you drive vehicles, the absolute best base for a game to implement proper Wheel and Simrig support and also VR. Both is like non existant and it has never existed.
Dont get me wrong, wheels work and i am playing with one but there is no Force Feedback. Absolutely nothing. I own a DD2 wheel and can set some resistance to my wheel through my software which makes it playable, but there is no feedback at all. There is a slider for FF in the menu, but it does nothing.
Maybe i am too stupid but i tried everything since FS19 to get it to work, but nope, no FF.

FF in this game is a no brainer. With the new ground deformation system it would be awesome with some effects in the wheel. And if you got yourself a butt kicker under your rig...holy...Giants...you are having a Sim here, make it feel like one please!
Also yes, i want VR, would fit the game perfectly, but proper Simrig support is the one thing this game needs the most in my opinion!

Great JRPG!
Very nice graphics and art design.
Boss fights are a blast along with the design of the bosses.
Playing it with japanese voices like every JRPG, some say translation isnt accurate....well i dont know, cant understand japanese. Subtitles are okay, nothing awkward so far.

Gameplay is very action oriented which is fine for me. Mixture of Code Vein, Scarlet Nexus and Tales of Arise. All of them i liked very much.
Also as i am not familiar with the Granblue universe, the game made me order the Anime. ^^
Definitely recommended for fans of JRPG's!

This is a difficult one for me as I wanted to like this game, but I give it a thumbs down because it totally lost me after 16 hours and i just cant bring myself to starting it again.

First of all...this is a Tomb Raider reskin. Not like we took some things from the Tomb Raider Remake, it is completely Tomb Raider, just with Melee Combat and a different setting. Some guys at Sony did see Tomb Raider and thought it must be a great idea to wrap a God of War around this formula. You get to dig stuff from the ground, youll need to climb things(less than in Tomb Raider) the whole map system is Tomb Raider 1:1. This might not be a bad thing for you, but all the praise this game was getting, i was very disappointed because i was expecting something unique. Well, its not unique at all.

On to the graphics, it is an old game and you see it. Characters look nice and thats about it. Textures look awful, not crisp just washed out and old. Its okay and youll get used to it but overall it is not a pretty game.
I played this game on a 32:9 monitor which isnt supported natively so i needed to load a mod to support it. This is a flaw at first hand because every Sony game on Steam has 32:9 support as far as i am aware of.
But on second hand it will show you other flaws you probably wont recognize if youre playing on 16:9. Gladly the mod is capable of reducing PopIns, because everything will just pop in which isnt in your sight if youre using 16:9. The mod is doing a good job, but without activating the "PopIn reducer" youll get to see many many of those.
Also characters are teleporting all over the place. Youre pushing an elevator button and your Kid wasnt next to you he will teleport on the elevator. Wanna climb? Kid is teleporting. Doint anything else? Kid is teleporting. This probably isnt an issue with 16:9 but it is immersion breaking for me. Also i got to a point where Kratos son was stuck under a destroyed building. Like completely stuck. Fun fact: in this case he wasnt teleporting. I had to reload. I wanted to climb a cliff to teleport him on my back and the game told me that my son is too far away, which never mattered but in this case, it broke the game.

I hoped the story would hook me at some point, but it didnt. Kratos was just annoying. Stop this BOY! Dont do that BOY! Dont ask questions BOY! Youre a noob BOY! OK, well get it! Just shut up!
Other things in the story just seemed inconsistent to me, like fighting the first "boss encounter" doing really crazy stuff to that dude, and he is always coming back, forcing you in a 3 stage boss fight ending it with an attack, that makes you think why this attack did end the fight. You did much worse to him. He will come back later on but in this fight the end was...weak...and not logical at all.
Another scene relatively in the beginning. Your hunting an animal with your BOY. A boar, a magical one which is pretty obvious due to its design with colours and such. Youll see it and the first thing youll think, why hunt it? Its a rare magical creature and youll see it. Beautiful and special. Then your BOY shoots it and it gets hurt and you are chasing after it and a sorceress will appear trying to heal that creature because its the last one of this kind. Kratos and his BOY are like, oh no we didnt know! We are sooo sorry, if we knew this we wouldnt have hunted it. ARE YOU STUPID? Who wrote this? Make a normal boar that if dying transforms into a magical one or something like this. Also this wood you are hunting it is basically in your neighbourhood, not far from your home. But the almighty Kratos hasnt been there. Okay, so Kratos is sorry, the BOY is almost crying for almost killing that wonderful magical creature and i was sitting in front of my monitor, thinking how this game got so many awards for characters and writing.
This scene was like, you see a stonebrick wall in real life, thinking hmm ill punch it full force with my bare fists! After doing that you are sorry because it was hard and made of brick and your hand hurts now.

I can understand why many people like this game, the gameplay is okay, nothing special but fun. It also has its moments.
But like i said in the beginning, it lost me completely because of too many things that are plain stupid.

Never heard about this game. Amid Evil, Ion Fury, Dusk, all of these oldschool shooters you will hear and read about sooner or later. This one was completely hidden from me and I just had it in my Humble Choice.
This is the most fun of them all! Graphics are nice, weapons are nice, levels are nice. Could use a little bit more of enemy variety but thats a very small flaw.
It even has a level editor and custom maps like in the old days. Very very nice!
Best oldschool shooter i played in years. Fast and gory and beautiful and full of secrets.
If you like oldschool shooters like Doom, get this!
