Not worth the money, they should have included additional scenery pieces at the very least for the price.

The game runs fairly well at times, still has some FPS drops, plays well overall for a new game, no crashes so far, they're working on some quirks but overall it's a great start to this game, I'm sure they'll add a few DLCs and I'm ready for them...

The game has gotten better since launch, I like the idea of the operation map but the game really lacks the original games' campaign mode, with major events that required some time to complete, as opposed to compartmentalized smaller missions which are fun but can become repetitive. It would also be nice if you could filter what types of emergencies you want to focus on. Adding more varieties of emergencies should make this more worthwhile and a campaign itself would make me buy it or buy the skins.

First day the game came out was not so great, however, after the update(s?) the game runs fine (30-40fpslol) on an I7 and 3070 and 32gb of Ram, I'm sure they'll get that worked out over time and I do agree the game should have been released later this or next year when certain things were more polished but overall I am happy with the game and have already lost enough hours to feel comfortable to say I would recommend it, however, if you're a hardcore Cities Skylines player you may want to wait until at least workshop has been added.

Main things I have noticed so far:

Good:
-Roads: connecting roads, highways, and traffic circles, although not perfect, is all an improvement from the first game for the most part.
- Graphics: I really like the new graphics, zooming in things feel more real.
- Water/Sewer: I feel this game requires less water and sewer facilities, and the fact you don't have to run pipes everywhere is great. Most roads (not highways) already include piping and electricity so you no longer have to run pipes everywhere.
- It's so easy to run electrical cabling underground now.

Bad:
- Traffic accidents: vehicles involved in accidents end up in very var areas (more often than not).
- I've had fires in a block being put out by only one fire engine when there were others available, in one occasion the Fire truck almost made an entire circle putting out fires as they kept spreading by the time it put one out, this needs work.
- We really need an Undo option, maybe I haven't seen it but it's annoying when making one mistake means you have to delete what you did or re-load your last save such as landscaping.
- It's either a bug or it rains FOREVER, it's been raining in my first city for at least 5 or 6 real-time hours (for those who believe in time).


Observations:
- Everything is bigger in Cities Skylines 2, my first map was an islands map and the International Airport (which is probably 4X the size of the regular Airport) took at least half of one of the biggest islands.
- Pay attention to the color coding when zoning, it'll make it easier to see where you should place commercial vs residential etc.

Long story short this is the best Age of empires 2 replacement that neither AOM or AOE3 could do for me. It has some bugs that will surely be fixed in time but it is much better than I anticipated. Coming from someone that played Age of empires 2 for as long as it has been released including DE, this is my new addiction and I highly recommend it.

Great game with great mechanics. My reason for the negative review is a naked man with no weapons or armor should not be able to run around and block all kinds of attacks with their arms and kill everyone in the process.

My friends kill stuff while I build our base in my underwear, it's a win win, I recommend, time doesn't exist.

This game is everything I have wanted for a long time. My biggest con is the party is capped at 4 players, there is no reason why it shouldn't let you have a party of at least 10 max, many of my friends won't get this game unless this is increased, please.

I was a bit skeptical to give this game a try but I'm glad I did. It is very challenging and fun at the same time. Worth your time.

Best RTS of all time, now works without issues in Windows 7/8 and multiplayer is supported. I love it.
