What can I say about this game? It's changed a lot since I started playing. I have over 1k hours. I PVP'ed and trolled. I built things. I made underground bases by spending hours hitting rocks...

The zombie AI is still meh. The game is still Alpha and there are many issues. I played non-stop, left, came back, played non-stop. It's best to have a GROUP of people to live/play with. Everything takes time. If you're a solo player you best get underground and keep quiet :p Even then people will dig holes and look through the ground and find you. There is no "safe place", only extreme PIA bases that take forever to get into. There's no such thing as an "unraidable base", unless you're 1) cheating, or 2) not following server rules (aka a skinny ass tower where the only way in would be to grief said base).

Hoping this game goes somewhere and brings me back for more. I loved it, and I'm sure you will to, but just remember it is alpha, annnnnd it makes it easy for cheaters/dupers/glitcher/creative use of game mechanics players to ruine your day/week/months of building in a couple of hours.

10/10 game to keep people with ADD and OCD obsessed. Do I build? Explore? Kill? Collect Bobbleheads? Collect Magazines? Take screenshots?! The worls is HUGE and some of the side missions are imo better than the main plot :p

Between mods and the expansion the skys the limit with this one. You will get lost perfecting your MTV cribz mansion with junk you find throughout the world, only to have the NPC's wander around the knock things over (they're all slobs). BUT you can take any peice of cothing you find in the world and make them wear it (I'm looking at you whiney Minuteman guy. Yeah, you work that sexy dress and pumps!).

There are hillarious nods to sports, movies, etc. Go to the coast and tell me when you get Reba and what movie that's from ;)

Amazing game that will take you forever to explore and complete EVERYTHING. I will get all the achievements....someday!

Been addicted since summer 2016. The game is very time consuming, and if you don't have TONS of time I would recommend finding a server that has Xp/Taming boosts. PVP servers also aren't for everyone (again, time...), and I would say this is the first time I have thoroughly enjoyed PVE in a game like this. There are enough challenges with taming and killing dinos that you wont get bored too quickly. Also, find a server like ArkAgainstHumanity (PVE), where it not only has boosts to shorten timers (Xp, gathering, taming, etc), but fantasic modes that aren't game breaking by any means. The mods are mainly cosmetic (accessories/hair for your character) and additional building options (Eco mod that lets you add your own flowers, trees, etc AND a GlassMetal mod that is just absolutely stunning to work with).

Check out my screenshots if you want to play with DINOS (near I say more) and be fully emersed in one of the most beautiful Alpha games I've played to date. Love it. Keep the updates and new dinos coming :D
