I bought this game & found that the camera was very hyperactive & almost impossible to use. I posted a review to that effect & the dev immediately responded (within 30 minutes of my post). From_Soy_Sauce genuinely wanted to correct the issue. I explained the situation & quite literally the camera issue had been addressed, the next day. This is the kind thing we all want to see from developers adding content to Steam.

Now that the camera is fixed I'm starting to get into the game a little bit & so far it seems like an interesting story. The visuals seem dated, but this is part of the charm. This is impressive work considering it's a Game Maker creation. So far I'm happy with the purchase.

Very nice. Very effective fix & extremely quick response. I'll be updating my review & I just gifted a copy to a friend. Your work just earned you another sale. :jimmykid:

With the latest update, there is a feature that lets you change how sensitive the stick will affect the camera rotation. We would be gratefully appreciative that with the adjustment to into account your constructive criticism if you would like to take the time you reevaluate the game.

I shall see what can be done about that by the time we do our next update, which will feature a Russian localization of the text.

It's a minor annoyance anyway. I'm sure I can retrain myself to use a backwards (at least from my perspective) Y axis. It's mainly the hyperactive camera I was trying to correct.

It's difficult to put out a clear indication of what button to press because of how different controllers do have different numbered buttons given different names.

I only ever try XPadder as a fall back, when games are lacking control options or the options just aren't cutting it. I too would rather not have to resort to XPadder, but it works most of the time.

That said, yes I think a sensitivity slider would fix the issue. The button mapping seemed to work fine until it was interfered with by a 3rd party's input. So leaving XPadder out of the equation would correct the backward controls.

Only other issue I noticed was the last 2 options while mapping the 360 controller ("Camera Stick Invert (1=Yes, 2=No)" & "Auto Jump (Y/N)") seem to require keyboard input but ignore the keyboard's input. The only button it responds to is the B button on the controller. I'm not sure what I'm selecting here. I assume "No" on both as I don't seem to be auto-jumpinbg in the game. I'd like a way to invert the Y Axis on the camera. If "Camera Stick Invert" is supposed to address this issue, then I'd rather have a clearer way to know what option I'm selecting during mapping.

The game was not designed with third-party programs like XPadder in mind. I would like to design the game in such a way that such tools are not necessary.

Would you like to make a suggestion as how to tackle the issue? I can think of a few off the top of my head.

1: Include a camera sensitivity slider in the control config.
2: Have it to where the player can change the camera sensitivity real time using the 1234 keys on the keyboard.

I was just getting ready to post up at the forums. Thanks for responding so fast.

The issue I'm having is the cursor/camera speed. It's hyperactive & there is no option to reduce sensitivity. I tried an XPadder remap & tweeking the sensitivity that way. However it seems the game overrides existing settings & resets them the way the game sees fit so the speed never changes. Also when using XPadder over top of the game the games controls appear to get confused with the XPadder's settings causing backwards controls. I assume this is due to the game always listening to the controller for input.
