This Iteration of Deadspace was just WOW for me. They took everything from the original and just improved it across the board and then some. The story was solid, with characters you liked,hated and rooted for only later to loathe them for their actions. A direct continuation from the first, this builds further on the franchise deepening the plot and bringing it to an amazing head. The atmosphere was completely immersive and, kept you hooked with its gorgeous use of graphical fidelity. Couldn't help but feeling creeped out and sometimes just waiting for something to jump out at me from every turn at times, which happens just enough to make you cautious to borderline paranoid. As a hardcore fan of early resident evil games, it is good to see another franchise that completely captures the survival horror genre and nails it in aces.
Still Holds up as a great game in 2017. RIP Visceral.
