It's a gritty teamwork shooter with a nice community. More advanced than one might think. It's good alright, stop reading this and go play.

It let's me continue mapping in an ancient map editor. 10/10

I really wanted to like this, it has a lot of potentional, with unit placement requiring line of fire, lots of bugs swarming you and a humoristic "Do you want to know more"?

But, it could really have used another month or two in development time, the units spend half their time inspecting their weapons rather than being ready to fire, making battles look quite wonky.

The missions start bland but become more fun, but there's still some weird gameplay decisions. Like in a mission where you have to defend a fort, starts great, but quickly it ends up with the bugs only throwing two kinds of bugs at you.
Normal bugs and a heavy shooter bug. Like you have more bugs in the rooster to choose from, but you only throw 2 types at the player for the entire mission?

Then there's the abilities of the units, each soldier gains an ability when they rank up, great!
But.. Some of them are quite questionable, like the officer has an ability to boost the performance of the soldiers, then he can gain a choice of either boosting the offensive performance or the defensive performance.. it's the same ability as the first one.

The RPG soldiers get an ability to block the pathing of the bugs, which sounds great until it breaks the AI because they can't push forward.

Look over the missions, fix the animations and rewamp the abilities and I'll give this another go.

It's an interesting set of units, some more unique one's like the chariot archer / chariot swordsman and others like a swordsman with a charged attack like the cavalier.
Then there's a spearman that doesn't deal bonus to cavalry while dealing bonus to archers. A bit confusing there.

The campaigns, while quite well done are also quite easy for an experienced player.

Turn based game with 3 controllable units, but with quite complex strategies. Also it's free!

It's still life is strange which by itself is a great game.
The graphics and characters have been improved but it's harder to spot some objects in some scenes.
Also the cinematic videos haven't been remastered, which makes the jump to them very glarying when they're played.

Ultrawide support was dropped after a patch.
I will probably recommend this over the base game, but this was a bit of a cash grab from square enix.

It's Life is Strange, if you like the series you're going to think this one is awesome.
Still LiS 1 will always be my favorite, but this one will sure be my 2nd.

I had some issues due to an overclocked CPU, but after using MSI Afterburner to turn down the CPU Clock MHz a bit, the game worked fine.

A tower defense game with a storyline and a lot of dark humor.
But I guess that editor won't be coming out anytime soon.

I'm currently on my 2nd playthrough with a 3x damage multiplier.
Combine it with removal of loot, survival mechanics and you got yourself a quite hard survival game.
