Great game. Was pleasently surprised at how well the controls worked out considering the highly physics based platforming nature of the game. David Wises (Donkey Kong Country composer) music in this was very nice too. Would recommend to anyone.

Like Turok 1, I wanted to play through this on the N64 but had trouble with it due to the console based controls. Like the remaster of Turok 1, this game has been flawlessly ported over to the new engine and the new controls/movement physics make it vastly superior to play over the N64 version and the original PC port.

Its crazy that this game has a huge amount of settings to tinker around with (and in the console commands) that most modern AAA PC games don't even come close to having. Although most of the textures/models don't appear to have been modified, the new object based motion blur and other new visual enhancements really give them added pop. I'm sure a HD re-texture project will appear at somepoint. They even provided both PC and N64 soundtracks which is a nice added bonus.

I remain hopeful that Nightdive Studios can port over Turok 3 Shadow of Oblivion and Rage Wars as long as the sources for those games still exist and are in good shape. With the high quality of both this and their Turok 1 port, it really shows the huge importance of preserving older games to make them work with the latest computers whilst enhancing the playability of them.

I'd recommend this to anyone even if they haven't played the original game on N64 or the earlier PC port.

Tried playing the N64 version of this years ago but had trouble with the controls being a PC game player. This new port fixes/modernises the controls/movement and generally makes it play far better than the N64 version and is essentially to my understanding a re-write of the engine to make it work on modern computers/OS's. The fact that the developer has opened the engine up for modding is very encouraging and a very good gesture on the Devs part.

The main textures/models haven't been changed but there is a HD texture pack on the Steam Workshop which provides some high resolution textures for the levels. Given how far the engine has been opened up, I'm sure a full HD mod will appear eventually.

Here's hoping the devs port over Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion and Rage Wars assuming the source codes of those even exist as they never got PC ports.

A nice game to play. Runs fine on my DK2 after I applied a fix that stops the HMD display turning grey due to SteamVRs boundaries not getting on with DK2. Sense of scale is really nice and it's pretty daunting seeing that Stork looming over you in survival mode!. The art direction is really nice with each bug easily identifiable on a whim.

Would recommend to anyone with a VR headset.

I played the original game to death when it first came out on PC and Playstation 1. The ball physics are pretty much as they were back in the day as is the gameplay. The visuals have had a major upgrade over the original game. The original game was rendered in high resolution (1600x1200 IIRC) which to this day looks really sharp. When playing this one, you can really appreciate just how much more detail there is over the original game.

If you like pinball games or played the original, buy it :)

Anyone with a Rift or Vive should buy this. Although it's pretty short (played through in just under 1 1/2 hours with interaction mode enabled) the production values and attention to detail are nothing short of amazing and it really shows what the future of learning will be like in the coming years :) Would recommend this to anyone.

Recenzja wczesnego dostępu
Dirt the way it should've been. Pure Rallying with none of the Americanization which caused the series IMO to lose its identity in recent years.

1) Rally stages that are actually proper length.
2) No Gymkhana.
3) No X Games.

Oculus Rift support is in there right now but is really glitchy right now with no apparent 3D depth. I'm sure it'll get to the same point as Grid Autosports Rift support. Anyone into Rallying needs to get this game. Even in its early stage of development it's really promising right now.

Some of the most morally depraved things go through the chat in this game. GOTY all years.

Superb remake of a classic game. Having played the original back in 1997, it's an absolute joy to re-experience the original game with new HD graphics which look a lot better than the original pre-rendered graphics. I'm a little disappointed that JAW had censored the intro in the boardroom with the Lollypop Mudokon instead of the servered head on a stick (AFAIK, this alteration had been limited to the japanese version back in 1997). Other than that, I can recommend this to anyone who played the original game. Really hope JAW make more games to explore the oddworld franchise further.

Very nice recreation of the movies climatic end scenes. My only gripes with it is that it ends way too suddenly. It literally cuts out when you activate the narcissus's launch computer with no animations or proper ingame feedback (also no recreations of the narcissus launch/refinery explosion, blowing the alien out the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ airlock and the glaring absence of Jones) :3

Even with these shortcomings, nothing beats the atmosphere and rush of having all the alarms going off and having the corridors fog over with smoke billowing out the pipes. :)
