I love this game.


I am not normally an ARPG player playing mostly games like Horizon, god of war or The Last of Us but this game has me hooked.

This game looks gorgeous and plays amazingly well since the patch and is everything i hoped it would be on PC.

I played this game when it originally game out on PC, then again when the remastered version came to PS4, and now again that it has arrive don PC. The story and the game play never fails to make me fall in love with it each time i play. in fact that love just gets stronger.

The story is one of the best post apocalypses stories ever penned and the performances are ALL Oscar worthy.

The combat is fun and challenging. The monsters and human enemies genuinely make you want to kill them.

I fell in love with Ellie just as Joel did and became wholly invested in them as people.

The new graphics are perfect. Models, textures and affects all come together to make a sublime experience that every gamer should enjoy.

Lastly, the sound track is like honey being pored into you ears. the recording captures every twang of the guitar strings and fits the mood and the spirit of the game perfectly.

I cannot recommend this game highly enough. it is worth the price and then some.

I loved the first game and i adore this one.

Story is incredible and i became genuinely attached to the main characters and even shed a tear here and there which surprised me as i am not like that at all.

If i have one complaint it would be the combat can be a bit of a grind and is sometime over repetitive. Never to the point where i wanted to stop playing but i did need to take a break every now and then to gather my thoughts and remember that i needed to get to the next part in the story.

Graphics and sound are beautiful and awe inspiring. The acting is top notch and i just wanted to hug Hugo and tell him everything was going to be OK.

All i would say is keep a hanky handy.

9/10 from this player. but go play "A Plagues Tale Innocence" first, if you haven't already :)

Scorn is 33% puzzle and 6666% Atmosphere.

If you like Giger and his organic style then you will love this. it moves away from his erotic style and stands firmly on his alien creepy side.

It is slow paced but i like that as it gives you a chance to soak in the scenery you are in and i have enjoyed exploring the environments more than solving the puzzles.

The puzzles are not super hard but there is little to no hand holding and i love that. There is to much hand holding in modern games with a lot of games over the last few years treating the players like they are simpletons and incapable of independent thought.

Gets an 8 out of 10 from me so far. I will return and update once i have completed it.

Repetitive game play but ultimately one of the most satisfying games i have ever played

Amazing Game. Played it through twice now and it was better the 2nd time as i could concentrate on the story more.

The story is epic in scope and scale and beautifully presented via some of the best graphics i have seen in a game. Acting is top notch as well as the audio.

Get it and love it.

I will keep this simple. I loved this game

The story was great, The characters relatable and i became heavily invested in them, Some of the acting is a little goofey but it did not spoil my enjoyment at all

The puzzles were fairly simple but overall really enjoyable.

The NPC AI is competent and works well. The Rats just make me smile to watch them a truly fantastic piece of coding.

The graphics are stunning. There were plenty of times where i simply stopped playing to look in awe at the game levels or the effects. the number of Rats on the screen at any one time is a sight to behold. Especially towards the end.

Sound and music are great with only the occasional loop sample that mildly irritated me.

Cinematics work really well to guide you through the story with only the occasional head scratch but that could be just me and they look just amazing.

Controls work well on the whole but do every now and then break down and you can't seem to achieve what you want. it is rare and after a bit of thought it is easy to work around. But again this could just be my experience with them.

4 Stars. and a well deserved smile from me as i completed it. It deserves a lot more attention.

A great throwback to horror games of old but with up to date grfx and audio.

My sons and I have been playing it and fmbeat the final boss to big cheers and high fives lol.
