They have a strong base with which to build on in additional content updates.

Don't believe all the negativity around queue times and what not. That is what happens when you get 8000 people insisting on joining a 2K capacity server rather than having the presence of mind to go and populate a bunch of other servers.

For ~$40-50, well worth a shot if you like PVP or even just running around in a well made world doing "busy work".

Fun game but dont buy the dlc as it barely adds anything to the game (2 new characters and a 3 mission campaign which takes less than an hour).

Highly recommend it to MMO fans who are not afraid to think for themselves abit and turn up the difficulty from what you may be used to playing.

Is it perfect? No, but no game is. It does give you plenty of stuff to do and some cool new toys to do it with (plus its free).

They did an awesome job with the space station the game is set on in terms of detail, and the gfx and sound production was top notch.

Pros:
* Great atmosphere courtesy of environment detail and sound production
* Very true to the classic Movie
* Whilst the game encourages and rewards stealth and subtlety, taking the aggressive option was often the right thing to do aswell, this kept it varied.
* The alien's behavior was largely unscripted making it less predictable.

I ruined many sets of undies playing this game, and the cost of replacement outweighs the cost of the game.


Anyway, highly recommend and I will be picking up the dlc in the next sale I suspect.

Brilliant. At least a 9 out of 10.

Not overly long or difficult (I finished it in about 3 or 4 hours maybe) but an innovative platformer, good story and quite surprising aswell.

Disclaimer: I recommend it at the reduced price but I wouldnt have paid 30 for it but back when it was released I probably would have.

Its a fun, action packed 3rd person shooter. The story is pretty good and maybe not what you would expect when you first start playing it. Its completely linear and arbitrary, ie: you dont make choices, you just progress through the story as it is intended.

Production wise its done well with solid graphics \ sound \ voice acting \ ingame cinematics etc, especially as its 3+ years old now. If I had to mention a negative (albeit minor) sometimes the controls can be awkward (when switching between cover locations for example) but overall its fine.

For 5\6 bucks it is worth a look.

Not a bad game. Definitely only a "75% off" pickup because its fairly short and simple, but it was enjoyable enough.
