NEVER always keep your mind clean and your hands dirty.

I always summarize myself in one word.

If you cant beat them, get a bigger stick.

If i had one word to say to the future generation it would be this.
You cant find friends, if your not looking.

I have to recomend this game (sigh)
I have been playing it for about 3 years now. If I didnt recomend this game, I would feel bad for the last 3 years :P

Pro's

The mech's look amazing, and allot of the graphics are pritty good

PGI has really stepped up their game in map design, and allot of the new maps have depth.

The difference in playstyles of each mec can be vastly different, be it light, med, heavy, or assault.

Not all mechs are viable but allot of them are, so there isnt one or two mech's that are the best.
I
f you get onto a decent team, you will have alot of fun, dosnt matter if you want to do compeditive or just tool around in community warfare.

If you played WoT(World of Tanks) you will have a one up in this game being that they are very close in play style and form.

Cons:
The hitreg varies between the different weapons and is infuriating. Some times your damage numbers reflect exactly the work you put in, then other times it dosnt and then some time you get no hitreg and you dont even effect you target by shooting him/her...it. It is theorized that if you can have a ping of 120 consitantly you are in the sweet spot and your hitreg will be perfect, and that if you have a stable ping that dosnt vary allot, it will be even better.

The balancing of the game by PGI is real, they over balence them to try and make every weapon viable and nerf mechs just to make them less usefull, instead of realizing that they are only balancing the game into frustration.

The new player experience is very difficult. Most of us have been playing for several years, as such we have become really good at the game, figured out what mechs we are good at and are up on the current meta. new players arnt, and often get frustrated because the biggest and baddest mechs arnt nessessarly the best. once they figure that out, most of them have already sunk allot of cbills into bad mechs. Also the learning curve can be brutal and unforgiving, between knowing where to go on the map, to just maneuvering around in your mech.

Sticky walls that break your legs, and small rocks that keep your 100 ton mec from moving are just some of the frustrating things that can run you away from this game. It dosnt happen as often as it used to, but it still happens.

Finnaly the community, this community is the most loyal, and at the same time can be the most hateful. There have been and are allot to trolls, at the same time, a game can be won and lost by one person doing somthing really stupid. This is a team game, not a single player game, and is much more unforgiving than all other shooters. Your teamates rely on you not doing stupid things and staying with the team.
