I can't put it down. This game is beautiful. I grew up on NES, and this takes me back.

I was playing Payday 2 in the lead up to Payday 3's release. Payday 3 felt a bit rough in comparison at first, but there are some decent heists, so I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. Dry Ice was a fun heist, so was the Art heist. I've attempted Gold Sharke bank on stealth a few times, but we kept triggering something. That was the first four hours, and apart from that, I have not been able to play the game. The heists aren't bad, but the matchmaking versus buying contracts or selecting games off the map is just an awful stupid change.

This is a shame. The Progression system is terrible, not that I'd know, since I can't play the game. I'll just turn Payday 2 back on until Payday 3's servers can handle the load, not that there will be one.

How can you learn nothing from Payday 2? Payday 3 feels like when movie studios throw out source material to "persue their own story" and predictably it turns out awful. I cannot at this time recommend this game.

UPDATE: They keep asking for an update so here it is, they are now blaming their server provider for the matchmaking errors. The problem I have with that is they chose to make the game Always-online, and then they chose this server provider, probably because they were the cheapest option. But it's not their fault you guysss......

I put in 300 hours in my first playthrough, and didn't want to play after that because I was burnt out. That's not really a bad thing though. Long breaks in between playthroughs means I forget things, and it offers more to the replayability than I expected.

Dark Souls 3 feels in many ways like the best delivery in the series. 10/10

It's as addicting as it is soul crushing. You will find yourself doing runs continuously.
