Fun and has waifus

Still seems like it has bugs based on difficulty level and map sizing. Playing normal and large map with friends and consistently faced 30k strength circles adjacent to us making it unwinnable even with unlimited Forestry etc enabled.

The UI needs work. Why is there a "Basic" and "Advanced" tab with a basic building (basic tower and forestry) in the advanced tabs? The game should instead change to "Buildings" and "Units" with the third tab being the only one that makes any sense.

Fun concept for sure, but has more than its shortcomings.

What Arma should have been.

Had this game since it first appeared on Steam and it has got consistently better every patch. First we started with only infantry and very few optics. Then came more optics for every faction. Then vehicles and more AT products. Helicopters have now made their way in and commander roles. Watching everything work in line together is so awesome. Commanders calling in brrrrt (A-10's) and big arty rounds. There's so much that can go on at one point in time and it can create absolute chaos. But that chaos is beautiful. Having mortars rain down 100-150m in front of you, small arms fire near your position, .50 cal going off in the distance, and vehicles all near the main objectives. All this at one time. Like I said, beautiful chaos.

That said, as much as I do love this game, there's some things about this game that some should be warned about. Firstly, player spotting is going to be difficult for most people for their first few hours of gameplay. Remember, we're in camo. We shouldn't be super easy to spot. Secondly, it is anywhere from 1-3 rounds, most often 2 rounds for you to eat the dirt until a medic comes to get you and revive you.

The game is ticket based and if you're that guy who gives up instead of waiting 1-2 minutes for a medic. Don't get this game. Please. You just bleed tickets for your team.

Don't be afraid to use your microphone either, communication is key. Seriously. Communication wins in this game bigger than almost any other I've played.

Nice to be able to hop into a single player FPS game that feels and looks good.

This game provides a nice break from WoW with better and better expansions as time has gone on, this game has done exceedingly better each time. I can't speak towards end game but the lore is on point and even though there's a 2 second global cooldown, it still doesn't feel sloppy. The leveling to about 50 is pretty tough as this was the base game and really underwhelming but once you start hitting their expansion contents from 50-51 onward it's exceedingly more enjoyable than most MMOs I've played.
