Once Civvie11 and Jim Sterling had both put the spotlight on this game I'd completely overlooked and ignored, I was persuaded to give it a shot.

Terminator Resistance is like a diorama of a Triple A title, there isn't a lot of it but it's all familiar and just works. It's *competent*, I didn't experience any bugs and it's a minimal-jank game, you don't have to wait for patches, it's there ready to be played for what it is.

I don't know if it's really 'faithful' or not because I've become so divorced from the Terminator universe, I haven't cared about a Terminator movie since 2 - nor am I *precious* about that. This feels legit though, it sets up shop in an interesting time after judgement day and elaborates on it without relying on callbacks.

I'm impressed by the devs on this one, it seems from the outside like they planned and executed their project well to deliver a lean and satisfying experience. Would recommend.
