PROS:
Freeroam outside of combat
Switching in/out of combat prior to engaging
Looks good/Plays well

CONS:
The Store: You can't sell anything, the prices are way too high and most of the stock is useless/ literally won't be purchased by anyone in any playthrough.

Weapons: Very limited variety. Fixed number of weapons to be found in-game. Mobs don't drop any weapons. Silent weapons come as they are, they can't be built/there's no mods to make a weapon silent. And you NEED silent weapons. Weapon mods are decent but again limited in variety/numbers.

Side quests: Outside of finding the small amount of "relics" for special perks/buffs there's no sidequests or reasons to go back anywhere or do anything else. Only reason to check each map carefully is just to get the limited scrap (because you need it) and the aforementioned relics.

Combat: The Freeroam & switch in/out of combat aspects are great but that's where it stops. Beyond that, you might as well be on rails, each combat scenario has to be played out the exact same way. If you don't do enough damage to use stealth kills to lower the numbers of larger groups you won't beat them. Prepare to savescum A LOT. It's unavoidable.

Scrap/Currency: As the name says, it's scrap metals used as a "currency" for an economy that you can't take part in since you can't sell. It's finite in number despite large portions of each map being filled with structures, vehicles etc that would all be made of these exact same materials.

Ultimately, a couple of good ideas let down by either incompetence or laziness. These are glaring flaws that could easily have been sorted before release but the devs seem to have no interest in realising the full potential of this title.

Let's keep it simple. Did you like/love Hotline Miami or Party Hard?

If YES then get this game.
If NO then don't get this game.

At this stage after so many hours of fun I can no longer recommend this game.

Certain changes were made were that have essentially destroyed an entire section of the playerbase and there have been no posts from the developer as to why or how these changes benefit anyone. Combine that with the focus shifting almost entirely to making money on cosmetic items rather than improving the competitive matchmaking which is as broken as it was on release and it's clear Psyonix have lost sight of their original goal.

If you're a fan of a single irreversible decision being the undoing of hours of work then by all means go ahead and buy this cartoony looking pos. Otherwise go back to Civ 4 or 5 because whichever of those you preferred beats this hunk of junk in every way. People with objectively bad taste need only apply.

Is this game a buggy and ugly mess? Yep. Is it still one of the best games ever made? Totally. Plot, characters and crazy vampire powers all make up for any technical shortcomings. Plus there are a tonne of mods out there to add crazy amounts of variety and new features, quests etc. Definitely worth every cent.

Fallout 4 has a lot on offer. Settlement building and management, heaps of exploring, weapon and armour modifications and a bevy of other new features. There's just one problem. None of it feels complete. This would be an absolutely stellar title if it was marked as being in the later stages of beta testing but as it stands as a fully fledged AAA title it's your typical Bethesda game. Everything is half-arsed becaused they tried to do too much. Give it 6-12 months for the modding community to do their thing like they did with FO3 and Skyrim and this game will be what it should've been on release. Until then I can't recommend this game unless you're a diehard Bethesda/Fallout fan.

A great game IF you avoid Single Player, teammate AI is ridiculously stupid and leaves a lot to be desired. However, throw in 3 other human teammates and this game will provide many hours of fun.
