Intense, decisive CQB combat with psuedo-random (but balanced) maps. There are no stupid gimmicks or cheese tactics, and the game requires coordination with your team. I love it.

This game, in the most infuriating way possible, takes control away from you every thirty seconds or so, and I mean that literally. I frequently had no choice regarding how I entered a room full of combatants; cut-scenes frequently ended with me in the middle of the room. I suppose its supposed to evoke a feeling of chaos and frenetic action, but to me it is absolutely jarring and annoying. The gun play is a confused mix of cover mechanics and bullet-time leaping; neither of which feels quite right.

Overall its a shiny AAA mess that plays more like an interactive movie than a game. An unworthy successor to the earlier Max Paynes.

The most detailed and complex Civ yet. Absolutely awesome!
