Simply a great game but would suit those that love balancing loads and logistics more.

If you avoid the mob type sheeple reactions you'll find a solid foundation to the New Ark game waiting for you. Is it perfect? No. Is it beautiful? Yes. Is it playable with a reasonable PC? Yes. YOu might need to play with the settings but this is not much different than when Crysis released on PC years back and nobody could run it on high. Back then people competed to get the best performance, nowadays it seems everyone just moans that their quasi-potato PC cant run everything on ultra.

Once you trawl through the knee jerk reaction and mob mentality reviews you will realise there are a solid bunch of people giving this game a thumbs up.

I am enjoying it and have dialled in my settings accordingly. I know I loved CS1 and CS2 needs time to bed in. I am happy knowing Colossal Order will work hard to keep things patched and improve optimisations and release new content.

That's my initial view after a few hours. This game is good and will only get better.

Game just oozes the atmosphere of the film Aliens. Great fun and very nostalgic.

This is an epic game and very deep but not for the casual player at this point. The Tech Tree is overwhelmingly complex in terms of its' breadth with little obvious guide as to which tech is better or worse or even if you need to research it for a given play through.

This is the natural evolution from the original 1990's x-com games where you play the commander at a strategic level and not the boots on the ground.

Well worth it and a lot of fun

It's a great narrative game with some thought provoking themes to the storyline. Happy to recommend. Found only one very minor bug in the whole play through when it came to climbing ropes but apart from that it's a slick production.

It's still better than all the subsequent releases. Shame you can't buy it anymore eh

Has its annoyances and desperately needs a pure QoL patch vs new content dlc but still is simply one of, if not the best games out there in this genre.

its just good solid simple fun.

It's simply one of the best games released in this Genre of all time.
