The game is good but what is the point when one only gets to complete one in ten matches because of this error which the developers have acknowledged. They think they have found the problem but not the solution.

Hopefully it will get resolved (patched) soon and I will update my review.

But as the Zealot says: "Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment!"

By far the best hunting simulator on Steam. Patience is a requirement. 11/10

Buy this NOW so that Expansive Worlds can afford to work on their other game - TheHunter: Call of the Wild.

100 % unbalanced at higher difficulties. Get ready to die. 10/10

Update - Latest patch broke game. Love a challenge and was quite happy with 100% unbalanced but right now it is 200% unplayable in higher difficulties. After 232 hours I am changing my opinion to Negative. Stay away until Turtle Rock fixes it. 0/10

Update - Recent update balanced most issues.

Wood Chopping Simulator but sometimes you kill animals and bandits. And you build stuff. 10/10

Jimi Hendrix would have loved this game. 10/10

Chernobylite has a touch of Metro and a sprinkling of S.T.A.L.K.E.R but it is truly original in it's representation of a post apocalyptic Chernobyl. It's not better or worse than the mentioned titles but it holds it's own and is unique. With the game completed I was left craving for more.

A game that does not know what it wants to be. End result: An incoherent mess.

Decent game. Not scary. Mostly tedious in it's attempt to scare players. If you are looking for the next Alien: Isolation this is not it.
Game is schizophrenic at best. Does not know if it wants to be a space horror or Lovecraft lost in space.
Visually stunning. Worth a play-through. No more, no less.
