Beat the game, and got all the achievements outside of the "play all songs" type stuff.

I love the mix of cozy puzzle solving and rhythm game. Big fan of the vibe. I heard the og was hand drawn and that would have been cool to see as an alternate play through offered in this but I thought the 3D animation looked nice enough.

The exploration controls are a little loose but isn't really a distraction. Puzzle difficulty isn't terrible given some are a bit of a stretch to figure out.

And then the main event. The music. Loved it all. If you are looking for a rhythm game with just such bangers and beauty in them, this is the one.

It's fallout. The music is here. Fun stories. Wild adventures. Interesting enough factions. 100,000 settlements that needed my help.

I know it's good since we had to do a mission IRL.

Seriously though, over 100 hours has gone by like nothing since the game loop is so naturally enjoyable.

The golden standard of idle games. It all comes back to cookies.

A very polished game experience so far, alongside a really cool story.

Let's break it down. I'm not going to summarize the story because you can read it on the store page.

Story - 5/10
The story, while funny and amusing, doesn't develop too much day to day. The connection you develop with the kaiju is surprisingly well developed as you make it through, but there is not much that happens day to day beyond the main gameplay loop outside of your strengthening connection to the girl.

Gameplay - 6/10
The gameplay loop is mostly simple and satisfying. While appearing to start getting into more complex resource management and time management, inevitably due to an easy difficulty poses no real issue progressing as there is a ton of elbow room for error and not being efficient.

Sound - 6.5/10
The background songs are sometimes just a bit repetitive but very catchy. The outro song was amazing tbh.

Art - 6.5/10
This was a difficult choice because the art is good. The outfits you can get her are varied and well done. The character models cute. The little animations for attacking towns are amazing even though there's only 2. I like the overall aesthetic of the game a lot. My only complaint is that the character models when in game suffer from being still images that are manipulated to appear moving. It's hard to explain but instead of actively animating things, the image is distorted at times to appear to be breathing or during h-scenes. While not necessarily a drawback it is a stylistic choice I feel is a cop out of an animation budget. It's the equivalent of making moving wallpapers on wallpaper engine. Although I will admit, it kinda worked for the game and didn't distract from what it was trying to do really.

H-Content - 7/10
With the incredible variety of minimum effort tile h-games and the like, it's very refreshing to see something I enjoyed enough to give a more thorough review for. The game allows you to buy various toys and outfits for use on your partner. The animation, as mentioned earlier, is a bit static which reminds me of the flash games back on newgrounds, but I wouldn't necessarily consider it a drawback. Most of it looks good and creates a fun pervy gameplay loop for those parts of the game. The interactive scenes come complimentary with a few CGI images that are given randomly throughout the days. Unfortunately many of these are repeated images with new dialogue that evolves as your connection does but it's still nice to have. Those looking for an incredible amount of options (such as oral,anal, bdsm, fetish content) will not find it here. All h-content is mostly straightforward vanilla intercourse.

Overall - 6.5/10
This is a nice standard to set among h-games. There's a lot of quirky fun in it and it sets itself apart as unique among many copy paste games within the genre. Would love to see more creative content like this for people who want to turn their brain off, enjoy a quick fun story without having to worry too much about decision making and micro managing resources.

I liked it for what it was. A cute lil story with a few simple choices you could turn your brain off to. I thought the art was quite pleasant.
