This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. The dynamics on how it's played on the strategy layer is nothing short of amazing.

The long awaited sequel. It lives up to and exceeds its expectations. It has the story, the combat, the thrill and the bits and pieces (L. E. Oat, you idiot!)

Couldn't be more happy - oh right, it also has mod support.

Simply one of those games that gets you completely hooked. Just awesome.

This game is pure awesomeness. It's got a big strategic map that spans over the entire campaign. Influences made there will have the biggest impact, however, there are seperate missions on which you bring your squad to take care of the alien and ADVENT invasion. Deaths here reflect back on the campaign as everything gets tougher and harder, requiring you to have more experienced soldiers in the field. Losing some is inevitable, but you should take the greatest precautions in keeping your squad members alive and running. Wounds also result from battlefield damage, leading to inactivity of your soldiers for a certain time.

The addition of the LONG WAR mod is just amazing, the scripters essentially made XCOM2 a whole new game, like they did with the previous version of XCOM. A massive thanks to all you modders out there for making XCOM2 a community game and making it ever more awesome.
